Description

Cinema advertising image with a clearly transparent layer carrier (e.g. made of glass). Enlarged individual images from the film, usually approximately 23 X 30 cm in size, are used for the usual advertising when a film is introduced and also during its performance. For conspicuous light Such pictures are created on cardboard and often also colored in. Glass panels or foils are used for light penetrating through, i.e. for lighting from behind. The images created on cardboard for incident light cannot be used for light penetrating through, and those on glass or Conversely, foils do not produce images for incident light, so that separate series of images must be produced in both cases.

Wollte man Kartonbilder z. The present invention pursues the idea for both types of lighting use one and the same image and therefore with a significantly lower number Pictures to get along. For this purpose, homogeneous, clearly transparent layer supports are used, such as glass, cellon, celluloid o. The like. It is known to use such layer supports to cover an emulsion against transparency. However, advertising images are clearly transparent in themselves Layer support, which is covered by an emulsion against transparency, its density but remains below the complete cover against viewing, so that the same thing Image still effective as a slide when looking through and still as positive when viewed from above is, are new. Images created in this way are in glass cases with built-in lighting usable in daylight as simple pictures in the same way as the usual ones Pictures on cardboard, but can be backlit in the evening and work in transparent in the same way as glass pictures. If you wanted cardboard pictures z. B. by Make treatment with 0I transparent, then the same success cannot be achieved, because paper is not a homogeneous, clearly transparent material and if it falls through Light does not produce a sufficiently clear picture either.

The invention can be carried out in various ways. When applied Transparent support is useful before applying the image layer first of all the light that reflects the incident light, but also passes through it permeable emulsion layer applied so that this is in the finished image between the support and the image layer. But the same success will also be achieved achieved when the substrate already contains the emulsion layer, i.e. milk or is executed in a similar color. There are then just like the usual picture two Layers, namely the support itself and the image layer, are present during the incident light is reflected back by the emulsion dissolved in the substrate will. Finally, the emulsion layer could also be on the back of the support are located, so be applied even after the image has been generated. When using a the effect of the image is as a result of such emulsions reflecting the incident light The sharpening of the contrasts increases significantly.

The emulsion does not have to be in the color of milk, it could also be have a different color that does not hinder the passage of the transmitted light.
