Description
The gas nozzle for an inert gas arc welding and cutting torch is a sensitive part of the burner because it has a high thermal Load and other welding spatter is directly exposed. The leads to high material wear and / or to frequent Cleaning work on the gas nozzle. In addition, the high thermal Load on the gas nozzle to overheat the torch neck and thus also to difficult working conditions, which the welder, i.e. the Worker who is exposed. The gas nozzle is known to the Gas nozzle receptacle clamped using clamp or screw clamps attached or screwed to the gas nozzle holder. From DE 93 11 142.8 U1 is the combination of a clamping screw connection between the gas nozzle and gas nozzle holder known, which also the arrangement of Expansion slots in the plug area of the gas nozzle.
The necessary rapid cooling has not yet been satisfactorily resolved of the burner. Have all known variants of burner cooling Solutions for cooling the gas nozzle holder or Power contact nozzle holder to the object. One is also known water-cooled gas nozzle, the cooling water via the gas nozzle holder is performed and thereby gas nozzle and gas nozzle holder particularly are constructed. As a result, the gas nozzle is logically only in the Interchangeable with the gas nozzle holder. From DE 38 43 770 C2 or EP 376 015 A1 is an interesting water cooling system in the Torch neck area and known for the gas nozzle holder. The gas nozzle but is also only indirectly and insufficiently over the outer jacket the gas nozzle holder is cooled.
The invention is therefore based on the object of directly closing the gas nozzle cool and thereby the service life of the gas nozzle and with it in Increase related parts while doing the uncomplicated To ensure replacement of the gas nozzle if necessary.
This object is achieved in that the gas nozzle for an inert gas arc welding and cutting torch in the front part double-walled and with a cooling medium in the double-walled Area is filled. The contact area with the gas nozzle holder is initially cylindrical with a thread and tapered further. The double-walled part is closed once and with filled with a gel or via the arrangement of a double quick connector separately water-cooled. The self-connecting quick connections allow an easy change of the gas nozzle. The one with the Invention and its combination with known structural elements, like expansion joints in the contact area of the gas nozzle and the combination of Plug and screw connection between gas nozzle holder and gas nozzle, The advantages achieved are that the thermal load on the gas nozzle and of the entire burner head is reduced, the flow ratio of Welding gas is kept largely constant and contamination can be greatly reduced by welding spatter. The expansion joints have another function, they also serve for self-cleaning of the Gas nozzle, as dirt particles are pressed out. The separately cooled gas nozzle also ensures in connection with the Gas nozzle holder the rapid heat transfer from one material to the other, e.g. B. from the gas nozzle inner wall via the cooling medium to the Outer surface of the gas nozzle and over the plug area of the gas nozzle on the Gas nozzle receiving. The heat released in the gas nozzle during welding is split up and therefore faster in time than with known ones Solutions possible, removed from the gas nozzle area.
Es zeigenThe invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawings. Show it

Fig. 2 Schnitt der Gasdüse mit Wasserkühlung Fig. 2 section of the gas nozzle with water cooling
The contact area of the gas nozzle for a protective gas arc welding and cutting torch with the gas nozzle receptacle is conical with a threaded area 4 and then over the entire plug area 3 . As is known, several expansion joints are arranged over the threaded part 4 into the conical plug-in area 3 , which ensure the tight fit in the plug-in area 3 between the gas nozzle and the gas nozzle receptacle with a spring ring. In addition, the expansion joints are sharp-edged on their inside and so scrape off dirt from the gas nozzle receptacle, which is pressed outwards by the joints and thereby removed from the burner. The double-walled design of the gas nozzle in FIG. 1 shows the filling with the cooling medium 1 , the cooling medium 1 being a gel.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the quick connections 5 on the outer jacket 2 of the gas nozzle for an inert gas arc welding and cutting torch which cools the gas nozzle via a water circuit separate from the other torch parts, ie the cooling medium 1 is water. This water cooling circuit is realized by means of double quick connection 5, which cannot be seen in FIG. 2. Double quick connector 5 guarantees an uncomplicated replacement of the gas nozzle if necessary, without switching off the water supply.
The operation of the gas nozzle according to the invention for a Schutzgaslichtbogenschweiß- and cutting torch according to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 is the same. During the arc welding or cutting process, heat is released by the arc, which leads to the heating or heating of the gas nozzle. The cooling medium 1 located in the cavity of the gas nozzle absorbs the heat and conducts it via plug-in area 3 to the gas nozzle receptacle, which in turn is connected to the burner cooling system. The cooling medium 1 can absorb and dissipate a much larger amount of heat in a comparable time unit than was possible in the prior art with indirect cooling of the gas nozzle via the cooling system of the burner tube or the gas nozzle holder. The material type of the cooling medium 1 supports the success of the direct gas nozzle cooling according to the invention in addition to the known cooling systems in arc welding and cutting torches.
