Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a motion detector according to the Oberbe handle of claim 1.
Motion detectors are used in a room that they monitor area movements of certain objects, especially movements of people, and possibly a switching signal trigger. That for switching on a light or warning direction required switching signal is maintained as long how people's movements are recognized. With the loss recognizable movements, does not apply after a reasonable delay time to operate a downstream Be lighting or warning device required switching signal.
There are active motion detectors with one transmitter and one Receiver work and passive motion detectors, where in generally the moving object itself serves as a transmitter. To the This particularly widespread group includes the passive infrared Motion detectors that respond to relatively small changes in temperature speak and thus also senses the heat emitted by humans can sen.
In most cases, passive infrared motion detectors have pyroelectric infrared sensors, with two sensitive ele elements that are connected in series or in parallel in opposite directions are connected. One consisting of many individual lenses Fresnel optics together with the infrared sensor defines ver different beams. With movements of heat-emitting Objects between different beams become a change radiation flow generated in the pyroelectric sensor, which leads to a Switching signal leads the motion detector. With central proximity tion of such motion detectors are often on the sensor generates so little alternating radiation fluxes that the movement does not respond or responds too late. Are similar the conditions for a presence detection in which it that's why, before switching off the room lighting, if necessary To determine people present in the room with the help of their movements. Movements are common, especially with desk workers only so weak that they are from normal motion detectors cannot be perceived.
The object of the invention is to provide a motion detector Improve the preamble of claim 1 in that he also detect minor movements with high sensitivity can.
This object is characterized by those in claim 1 Features resolved. Appropriate refinements and training of the subject of the invention are mentioned in the subclaims.
With the help of one of at least four radiation-sensitive elements Elementary series connection succeeds, even at low movements to achieve a sufficiently high sensitivity chen. However, the constant polarity is also decisive change between the individual radiation temp sensitive elements. This ensures that the same parts of the tension that are present even when there is no movement can form individual radiation-sensitive elements, ge Compensate on the opposite side, so that essentially only the Be movements caused by the alternation is retained. This Signal is emitted from the two free ends of the series connection gripped and fed to a downstream sensor electronics.
In an advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is provided by the radiation sensitive elements formed series connection on a common carrier to inte freeze. It is useful to radiation-sensitive the carrier Chem, preferably to produce pyroelectric material that has a uniform direction of spontaneous polarization. In this case, on two opposite sides of the Carrier, each at a distance from each other, on the one hand a row made of front electrodes and on the other hand a row made of back electrical which are arranged so that the two electrode plates partially overlap. In the overlap area, streak is created elements that are sensitive to light and always pass through the electrodes alternating polarity are connected in series. One like that built sensor can be manufactured with small dimensions and accordingly place in the center of a collection optics.
It is also possible to manufacture the sensor using thin-film technology len, where it is then appropriate to the carrier from a pyro electrical thin film with a thickness of at most 2 microns shape. It has also been found that it is advantageous if the carrier is made of a pyroelectric material with a relative dielectric constant of at least 100. For It may be appropriate to increase the local resolving power be in the immediate vicinity of the radiation-sensitive ele elements of the carrier to partially or completely ent distant.
A radiation sensor of this type can be of any known construction ten apply. So it is possible the rays of light through an infrared transparent single lens towards the sensor focus or optics from several infrared passages to build up our collective lenses. Even Fresnel lenses that are in the Area of motion detectors have proven to be very useful turn. An optic can also be created that consists of focusing lenses, which are combined with suitable infrared Interacting mirrors interact.
Es zeigen An embodiment of the invention is in the drawings shown and is described in more detail below. Show it

Fig. 3 shows the basic electrical circuit diagram of a series circuit formed from polarized radiation-sensitive elements with sensor electronics.
Figs. 1 and 2 show a specific design solution for the construction of a sensor S which, like Fig. 3, consists of opposite polarity connected in series, radiation-sensitive elements LE. Each two series-connected radiation-sensitive elements LE form a pair 1 , 1 'to 4 , 4 ', so that in the present example, the series circuit consists of four pairs of radiation-sensitive elements. If one assumes that in the idle state, i.e. when there is no movement, all radiation-sensitive elements LE achieve approximately the same, constant radiation LS, the signal level generated at the individual radiation-sensitive elements LE will be approximately the same size and largely compensate for one another.
However, as soon as a heat-emitting object in the Er reaches the sensor S range, the equilibrium is reached disturbed and according to the direction of movement are determined radiation sensitive elements with increased radiation LS acted upon. This creates an alternating signal that is sent to the tapped both free ends A and B of the series circuit and can be supplied to sensor electronics E. The latter can now for example a control signal triggered by the movement produce.
The structural design of the sensor S shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 takes place with relatively simple means. The basic element is a carrier T, which is made of pyroelectric material with a uniform direction of spontaneous polarization. On two opposite sides of the carrier T, a row of front electrodes F and on the other hand a row of rear electrodes R are arranged at a corresponding distance from one another. The arrangement was made so that the two types of electrodes partially overlap and thereby form individual radiation-sensitive elements LE with the support. This automatically results in an alternating polarity, the electrodes F, R ensuring a connection in the form of a series connection. A voltage can be tapped at the connections A and B, which voltage is generated by a moving radiation-emitting body. Due to the compensation of the static basic signal level, the sensor electronics E is only subjected to an alternating signal, which, however, turns out to be relatively high due to the series connection of many radiation-sensitive elements LE, so that even relatively minor movements can still be detected. The sensitivity of the motion detector is thus significantly increased.
