Stoßfläche vorgesehen ist. Durch die Stoßflächen ergibt sich
eine genaue Begrenzung der Einsteckbewegung der Kunststoff-
Metall-Verbundrohre in bezug auf die Verbindungseinrichtung,
wobei die Verbundrohre mit ihren jeweiligen Stirnflächen eng an
dem Stoßflächen der Verbindungseinrichtung anliegen. Dadurch,
daß das Widerstandsheizelement mit einem ersten Abschnitt im
Bereich des jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes und
mit einem zweiten Abschnitt im Bereich der jeweils zugehörigen
Stoßfläche vorgesehen ist, ergibt sich der besondere Vorteil,
daß sich der Verschweißvorgang nicht nur auf den hülsenförmigen
Einsteckabschnitt und die zugehörige Außenfläche des jeweiligen
Verbundrohres erstreckt, sondern außerdem auch auf die an diese
Außenfläche angrenzende Stirnfläche des jeweiligen
Verbundrohres, so daß die entsprechende Metallzwischenschicht
in die Schweißstelle allseitig eingebettet ist. Die
Metallschicht liegt also an keiner Stelle frei, so daß eine

Das Widerstandsheizelement 32 weist im Bereich des jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes 14 einen ersten Abschnitt 36 und im Bereich der jeweils zugehörigen Stoßfläche 18 einen zweiten Abschnitt 38 auf, wobei es sich als vorteilhaft erwiesen hat, wenn die spezifische Heizleistung, d. h. die Heizleistung des Widerstandsheizelementes 32 im ersten Abschnitt 36 von der spezifischen Heizleistung im zweiten Abschnitt 38 verschieden ist, um nach der entsprechenden Beaufschlagung des Widerstandsheizelementes 32 mit elektrischem Strom eine Verschweißung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 nicht nur zwischen den Einsteckabschnitten 14 und den angrenzenden Außenflächenabschnitten 40 der Verbundrohre 20 zu erzielen, sondern außerdem auch eine Verschweißung zwischen den ringförmigen Stirnflächen 30 der Verbundrohre 20 und den durch die Stoßflächen 18 begrenzten Abschnitten der Verbindungseinrichtung 10, d. h. der Stirnflächen 30 der Verbundrohre 10 mit dem innen umlaufenden Wulst 16 der Verbindungseinrichtung 10. Der Wulst 16 bzw. die Stoßflächen 18 des Wulstes 16 weisen eine radiale Abmessung a auf, die größer ist als die Summe aus der Wanddicke b der Kunststoff- Außenschicht 24 und der Wanddicke c der Metallschicht 26 des jeweiligen Verbundrohres 20, so daß beim Verschweißen der Verbundrohre 20 mit der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 die Metallzwischenschicht 26 durch den Wulst 16 allseitig bedeckt und somit gegen Einflüsse des die Verbundrohre 20 durchströmenden Mediums zuverlässig geschützt ist. Das bedeutet, daß z. B. eine Korrosion der Metallzwischenschichten 26 der miteinander durch Verschweißen verbundenen Verbundrohre 20 zuverlässig verhindert werden.The connecting device 10 is provided with a resistance heating element 32 , which consists of a coiled resistance wire which projects out of the connecting device 10 with two connecting ends 34 . Fig. 2 zeigt eine Ausbildung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10, die sich von der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Ausführungsform der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 insbes. dadurch unterscheidet, daß der im Inneren der als gerade Hülse 12 ausgebildeten Verbindungseinrichtung 10 umlaufende Wulst 16 mit voneinander abgewandten Stoßflächen 18 ausgebildet ist, die mit der Mittelachse 28 des zugehörigen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes 14 der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 einen Konuswinkel k einschließen, der von 90 Winkelgrad verschieden ist. Der Konuswinkel k beträgt vorzugsweise größenordnungsmäßig 75 bis 80 Winkelgrad. Der konischen Ausbildung des Wulstes 16 bzw. der Stoßflächen 18 des Wulstes 16 entsprechend sind die ringförmigen Stirnflächen 30 der beiden miteinander durch Schweißen zu verbindenden Endabschnitte der Verbundrohre 20 konisch gestaltet. Entsprechend sind die ringförmigen Stirnflächen 30 der beiden miteinander mittels des Hülsen-Winkelstückes 42 durch Verschweißen zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Metall-Verbundrohre 20 konisch gestaltet. Auch bei der in Fig. 3 gezeichneten Ausbildung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 ist jeder der beiden hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnitte 14 des Hülsen-Winkelstückes 42 mit einem elektrischen Widerstandsheizelement 32 versehen, das von einem Widerstandsdraht gebildet ist. Die Widerstandsheizelement 32 ragen mit Anschlußenden 34 aus dem Hülsen-Winkelstück 42 heraus, so daß die Widerstandsheizelemente 32 miteinander in Serie oder parallelgeschaltet werden können. Jedes der beiden Widerstandsheizelemente 32 ist mit einem ersten Abschnitt 36 im Bereich des jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes 14 und mit einem zweiten Abschnitt 38 im Bereich der jeweils zugehörigen Stoßfläche 18 versehen, wobei die beiden Abschnitte 36 und 38 des jeweiligen Widerstandsheizelementes 32 voneinander verschiedene spezifische Heizleistungen aufweisen können. Fig. 4 verdeutlicht teilweise aufgeschnitten eine Verbindungseinrichtung 10, die als T-Stück 44 ausgebildet ist. Sie weist drei Einsteckabschnitte 14 auf, die jeweils im Inneren des T-Stückes 44 durch eine zugehörige Stoßfläche 18 begrenzt sind. Bei der in Fig. 4 gezeichneten Ausbildung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 sind die Stoßflächen 18 wie bei der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Ausführungsform der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 zur zugehörigen Mittelachse 28 des entsprechenden Einsteckabschnittes 14 senkrecht orientiert. Entsprechend sind die ringförmigen Stirnflächen 30 der Kunststoff-Metall-Verbundrohre 20 zu ihren Mittelachsen 28 senkrecht orientiert. Jedes der Verbundrohre 20 weist eine Kunststoff-Innenschicht 22, eine Kunststoff-Außenschicht 24 und eine zwischen der Innen- und der Außenschicht 22, 24 vorgesehene Metallzwischenschicht 26 auf. Jeder der hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnitte 14 der als T-Stück 44 ausgebildeten Verbindungseinrichtung 10 ist mit einem Widerstandsheizelement 32 versehen, das von einem Widerstandsdraht gebildet ist, der mit Anschlußenden 34 aus dem T-Stück 44 herausragt. Auch bei dieser Ausbildung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 ist jedes der Widerstandsheizelemente 32 mit einem ersten Abschnitt 36 und mit einem zweiten Abschnitt 38 ausgebildet, die zweckmäßigerweise voneinander verschiedene spezifische Heizleistungen besitzen können. Der erste Abschnitt 36 ist dem jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnitt 14 und der jeweilige zweite Abschnitt 38 ist der jeweils zugehörigen Stoßfläche 18 zugeordnet. In this embodiment of the connecting device 10 , too, each of the resistance heating elements 32 is formed with a first section 36 and with a second section 38 , which can expediently have different specific heating powers. The first section 36 is assigned to the respective sleeve-shaped insertion section 14 and the respective second section 38 is assigned to the respectively associated abutting surface 18 .
