Beim Drehen desselben mittels des Bremsgestänges bzw, -kabels wird der Durchmesser des Drahtringes io verringert, so daß er die beiden Bremsscheiben durch Einwirkung auf ihre Keilflächen g auseinander- und an die Reibflächen 3 der Bremstrommel drückt, wodurch -das Bremsen des Fahrzeuges erfolgt.
