Abstract

The hydraulically operated car trailer drive has an auxiliary line from the brake force limiter (2) to the trailer, a three-circuit main brake cylinder and a third brake circuit for the suspension. The drive can be added to an existing car by fitting a brake hose from the trailer to a hydraulic coupling, then normal lines to the wheels. Man legt vom lastabhängigen Bremskraftbegrenzer des PKWs eine Zusatzleitung zur Hängerkupplung. Am Ende der Leitung wird dann eine Hydraulik-Kupplung angeschlossen. Am Hänger verwendet man zuerst einen Bremsschlauch mit dem Gegenstück der Hydraulik-Kupplung, danach normale Bremsleitungen bis zu den Rädern des Hängers. Der Bremsschlauch dient als flexible Verbindung, damit es in Kurvenfahrten zu keinem Abknicken der Leitung kommt. Der Anschluß an den lastabhängigen Bremskraftbegrenzer ist deshalb von Vorteil, da er sich in Abhängigkeit von der Fahrzeugbelastung schließt oder öffnet (d. h. schwächere bzw. stärkere Bremskraft an den Hinter- bzw.
