Erfindungsgemäß sind zwischen den beiden Wangen 1a und 1b, wie dies auch aus Fig. 2, in der der gleiche Stuhl von der Rückseite her dargestellt ist, Sprossen 6 querverlaufend vorgesehen, und zwar in einem bestimmten Raster, das so gewählt ist, daß beispielsweise bei einem Durchmesser von 19 mm runder Sprossen 6 ein Abstand zwischen den benachbarten Sprossen von ca. 21 mm gegeben ist. Die Sprossenreihe ist dabei in das letzte Drittel nach hinten verlegt angeordnet und gleichförmig ausgebildet. Die beiden Wangen sind also fest miteinander verbunden. Oben sind die beiden Wangen 1a und 1b durch einen Rückenlehnenabschlußteil 5 miteinander verbunden, der auch entfallen kann, wenn die Sprossen 6 bis oben hin weitergeführt werden. Die Sprossen 6 sind über einen sehr weiten Verstellbereich angeordnet. Zwischen die Sprossen kann ein Sitzelement 10 oder auch ein Fußelement 13 geschoben werden, das gegenüber dem Sitzelement verlängert ist, oder aber auch als Sitzelement dienen kann, wenn das Sitzelement 10 entfernt wird. Bei der Ausführungsform nach den Fig. 1 und 2 wird davon ausgegangen, daß die Tiefenabmessung bzw. die Überstände des Sitzelementes 10 bzw. des Fußelementes 13 konstant gegenüber der Sprosse sind. Die Breite des Sitzteiles ist in der Darstellungsform so gewählt, daß diese der lichten Weite zwischen den Wangen 1a und 1b entspricht. Wie weiterhin aus der Darstellung in Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist, ist an der Unterseite des Sitz- 10 bzw. Fußelementes 13 eine querverlaufende Stützwand 12 bzw. 15 vorgesehen, die breiter ist als das Sitz- bzw. Fußelement und auf der Stirnseite 35 der Wangen 1a und 1b aufliegt. Zwischen der Stützwand 12 bzw. 15 und der Unterseite ist jeweils eine sich nach vorn erstreckende Stützwand 11 bzw. 14 vorgesehen, die als Verstärkungsrippe die Sitzfläche bzw. In der Stützwand ist eine Gewindebohrung 37 vorgesehen, beispielsweise in Form einer Einschneidgewindehülse, die in eine Bohrung in der aus Holz bestehenden Stützwand 12 eingreift. Ebenso ist auch das Sitzelement beispielsweise aus Holz gefertigt. Es kann aber auch aus Kunststoff gefertigt sein. Der Abstand zwischen der Rückseite der Stützwand 12, die an der Stirnseite 35 der Wange 1b anliegt und der Nut 23 ist so gewählt, daß ein fester Halt gegeben ist, wenn das Sitzelement 10 nach oben gedrückt wird, so daß die Sprosse 6′ in die Nut eingreift. Ein Abkippen ist nicht mehr möglich. Eine Zweipunktfixierung durch die Sprosse 6′ einerseits und die Anlagefläche der Stützwand 12 andererseits ist gegeben. Damit nun aber beim Aufstellen eines Gegenstandes auf die obere Sitzfläche des Sitzelementes 10 oder beim Aufsitzen eines Kindes das Teil nicht herunterrutschen kann, ist es erforderlich, daß es unterstützt wird, da es, wie vorher angegeben, eine Stärke aufweist, z. B. 14 mm, die geringer ist als der Abstand zwischen den benachbarten Sprossen 6′ und 6′′. Dies wird auf einfache Weise dadurch realisiert, indem zwischen die Wangen hinter die Sprossen 6′′ und 6′′′ ein Sicherungselement 16 eingefügt ist, das ebenfalls zur Fixierung Nuten 24 und 25 aufweist, die der Querschnittsform der Sprossen 6′ und 6′′ angepaßt sind. Die überstehende Höhe über der Sprosse 6′′ ist so gewählt, daß sie unmittelbar unter der Unterseite des Sitzelementes 10 endet, so daß ein Absenken des Sitzteils nach Einfügen des Sicherungsteils 14 nicht möglich ist. Um dieses Sicherungsteil 16 zu fixieren, ist eine Schraubverbindung mit einer Schraube 21 vorgesehen, z. B. einer Imbusschraube, die in eine Ausnehmung 18 in dem Stützteil 16, das auch aus Holz oder Holzersatzstoffen bestehen kann, eingesetzt und in die Gewindebohrung 37 der Stützwand 12 eingeschraubt ist. Dadurch ist ein sicherer Halt des Sitzes gewährleistet. Im Falle, daß die Stützwand 12 und auch der Sicherungsteil 16 durchgehend ist, kann mit einer einzigen mittigen Schraube die sichere Verriegelung des Sitzteiles 12 zwischen den benachbarten Sprossen 6′ und 6′′ vorgenommen werden. Das Sitzteil weist oben eine querverlaufende Nut 23 auf, in die die Sprosse 6′ im eingesetzten Zustand eingreift, so daß von daher bereits eine Fixierung gegeben ist. Das Widerlager wird durch einen Ansatz oder im konkreten Fall durch eine Sprosse 22′ einer Sprossenreihe 22 gebildet, die vor der hinteren Sprossenreihe 6 liegt und ebenfalls die beiden Wangen 1a und 1b miteinander verbindet. Zur Lagefixierung ist ebenfalls eine Nut 26 an der Unterseite des Sitzelementes 10 vorgesehen, in die die Sprosse 22′ bzw. der Ansatz, je nach Ausführungsform, arretierend eingreift. Bei Druck auf die Sitzfläche ist eine selbsthaltende Befestigung gegeben. Ein aufsitzendes Kleinkind vermag es nicht, dieses Sitzelement aus der Arretierung zu lösen.
