Diese Herduhr hat eine übliche Kurzzeitfunktion sowie Dauer- und Endeinstellung für eine Zeitsteuerung. Eine mit 10 bezeichnete Baugruppe stellt eine sogenannte Kombieinheit dar, die aus einer Bratautomatik 11, einer Anwähleinrichtung 12 für den Back- und Bratofen sowie einer Bedieneinheit 13 für die Mikrowellenbeheizung des Back- und Bratofens besteht. Die Bratautomatik 11 hat eine übliche Displayanzeige, Speicherfunktion sowie eine Programmauswahl- und Gewichtseingabemöglichkeit. Zur Anwähleinrichtung 12 gehört eine elektronische Regelung der Garraumtemperatur mit Vorschlagstemperatur je nach Betriebsart und deren Anzeige sowie Anzeige der Backofenwahlfunktion. Die Mikrowellenbeheizungs- Bedieneinheit 13 ist eng mit der Bratautomatik und deren Anzeige verknüpft. Über eine serielle Schnittstelle 14 ist die Baugruppen-Kombieinheit 10 mit einem mechanischen Schaltwerk bzw. einem sogenannten Funktionsschaltwerk 15 verbunden, über das die gesamte Steuerung des Back- und Bratofens (Garraumes) läuft. Die zur Steuerung benötigten Daten erhält das Funktionsschaltwerk 15 über die seriellen Schnittstellen der Baugruppen-Kombieinheit 10 und der Uhr 7. Mit dem Funktionsschaltwerk wird der durch den Backofen-Wahlschalter vorgegebene Code (je nach Betriebsart) umgesetzt und die Leistungskontakte in die entsprechenden Schaltstellungen gebracht. Die gesamte Steuer- und Anzeigeeinrichtung 10, 7, 6 ist zweckmäßig von der Netzspannung getrennt und wird mit Niederspannung betrieben, wozu eine entsprechend ausgelegte Energieversorgung 16 für die Uhr 7 und ein gemeinsamer Trafo 17 für das Kochstellen-Steuermodul 1 und der Kombieinheit 10 ins Versorgungsnetz gelegt ist. Alle notwendigen Last- und Steuerkontakte zur Realisierung des Bratofen- bzw. Herdbetriebes sind im Funktionsschaltwerk 15 integriert. Ein motorisch angetriebener Funktionswahlschalter öffnet und schließt über eine Nockenwelle und Kontaktbahnen entsprechende Schaltkontakte.
