Description
Process for dyeing cellulose esters. It is known that acetate silk can be used dye with a large number of such acidic monoazo dyes in strong shades, which contain only one sulfo group in the dye molecule.
A typical representative of these monoazo dyes, which are suitable for dyeing acetate silk, is diphenylamino orange (orange IV): sulfanilic acid -> diphenylamine. The dyeings made with this dye on acetate silk are, however, quite acid-resistant. Experiments have shown that the products of substituted anilinesulfonic acid and diphenylamine have the same poor acid fastness on acetate silk, which is practically a great disadvantage, since the acetate silk is treated with acid to increase the feel and shine at the end of the dyeing process.
It has been min _gefunden that the azo dyes, the acids by coupling a diazo compound with unsulifierten Diphenylaminsulf os # or their D erivaten arise, resulting on acetate silk dyeings of excellent fastness acid, which also have an excellent light fastness simultaneously. Only the shift of the sulfo group from the diazo to the coupling component has this surprising effect. The use of these hitherto unrelated dyes means a considerable technical advance for the dyeing of acetate silk.
Man erhält auf der Faser ein kräftiges-, säureechtes Goldgelb.i kg acetate rayon is in a Färbebade from 2o to 25 1, in the 2o g of the dye of 3-nitro-i-diazobenzene and Diphenylaminsulfosäure are dissolved, with or without addition of salts or Sätiren or protective colloids% to i hour at 6o to 70 'C colored. A strong, acid-fast golden yellow is obtained on the fiber.
If you replace the in-nitroaniline z. B. by o- or p-nitroaniline, nitrotoluidines, Nitroanisidine, Chlornitraniline or Dinitraniline and similar bases "is obtained in this way there are also strong golden yellow to red dyeings of very good acid fastness.
