An den Rahmenpfosten ι vor der Kalanderwalze 2 sind Platten 3 durch Schrauben 4 befestigt, und an den Platten sitzen drehbar auf durch Muttern 9 festgehaltenen Bolzen 8 Arme 5. Schraubenfedern 11 sind über die inneren Verlängerungen 10 der Bolzen 9 geschoben und drücken mit ihren freien Enden 15 auf Stifte 16 der Arme 5, um diese gegen die Kalanderwalze 2 zu drücken. Die oberen Enden der Arme 5 haben nach innen gerichtete Abbiegungen 20, auf denen eine Platte 21 durch Schraubenbolzen 25 befestigt ist. Die Schraubenbolzen durchdringen Schlitze 22 der Abbiegungen 20 und können infolge des stärkeren Bolzenteiles 30 durch die Muttern 26 an den Abbiegungen festgeklemmt werden. Der Teil 30 dringt durch die etwas größere Bohrung 23 der Platte 21, so daß letztere an diesen Punkten drehbar festgehalten wird. Dadurch wird selbsttätige Einstel- I lung der Enden, der Platte 21 ermöglicht, was 1 jedoch an und für sich nicht neu ist. Auf der ; Platte 21 ist ein Winkeleisen 35 befestigt. Ein Reinigungskissen aus Filz oder anderem nachgiebigen Stoff liegt auf der oberen. Seite der Platte 21 vor dem senkrechten Flansch des Winkeleisens 35 und stützt sich. mit seiner inneren Seite gegen, diesen Flansch. Das Kissen ragt beträchtlich über die Vorderkante der Platte 21 hinaus. Zur Befestigung des Kissens auf der Platte 21 ist auf dieser ein dünner Metallstreifen 37 durch Schrauben 3.8 befestigt. Die vordere Kante des Metallstreifens ist als mit nach oben gerichteten Zähnen versehener Flansch 39 ausgebildet, der in die Unterseite des Kissens 'eindringt. In die obere Fläche des Kissens greifen die Zähne "41 einer Platte 40 ein, deren hintere Kante an einer Platte 42 befestigt ist. Fingerstücke 43 sind in Abständen an dieser Platte ■42 angebracht und liegen mit den äußeren Enden gegen flache Federn 44 an, deren untere Enden an dem senkrechten Flansch des Winkeleisens 35 durch Schrauben o. dgl. festgehalten sind. An der Platte 42 sind in Abständen Winkeleisenpaare 46 und auf den Winkeleisen 35 ähnliche Winkeleisenpaare 45 befestigt.
