Typischerweise wird das Gehäuse 20 nämlich auf dem Rücken getragen, wie dies Fig. 5 zeigt, so daß ein Benutzer die jeweilige Botschaft, die er über die Anzeigeeinheit 22 an Dritte ausgibt, selbst nicht erkennen kann. Ihnen sind Knöpfe 40 zugeordnet, die die Nadeln im wesentlichen kraftschlüssig umgreifen und ihren freien Endbereich umhüllen.
