Diese Art Stielbefestiger hat also den Nachteil, daß die Spreizwirkung sich nur auf einen Teil der Stiellochwandung erstreckt, da infolge der pendelartigen Spreizbewegung weder ein allseitiges noch ein gleichmäßiges Berühren der beim neuen Gerät zylindrischen Stiellochwandung möglich ist. Diesen Nachteil hat eine andere Befestigungsart zu beseitigen gesucht, die anstatt der pendelartig bewegbaren Spreizstücke ein kreuz und quer mit Längsschlitzen verzsehenes Rohrstück verwendet, das an dem in das Stielloch eingreifenden Ende ein ebenfalls mitgeschhtztes, konisches Druckstück hat, in das mittels einer achsial im Innern angebrachten Schraube ein entsprechend geformter Gegenkonus gepreßt werden kann, der die durch die Längsschlitze gebildeten Spreizstücke radial gegen die Stiellochwandung des Gerätes drückt und dadurch die zur festen Verbindung des Befestigers mit dem Gerät notwendige Reibung erzeugt. Obwohl diese Befestigungsart erheblich besser isst als die vorher besprochene, weil sie in einem tadellos kreisrunden Stielloch ein allseitiges und auch gleichmäßiges Anpressen ermöglicht, haftet ihr doch der Nachteil verwickelter Bauart und infolgedessen der mangelnden Wohlfeilheit an, ohne die Ein derartiger Gebrauchsgegenstand nicht die ihm zukommende Verbreitung finden kann.
