Gasbrenner.
Gas burner. The present invention relates to a gas burner which is used in particular for grill and roasting ovens. It differs from known gas burners of this type in that the burner is arranged in the upper part of the furnace, namely below a plate made of Schaniotte or the like. The flames of the burner blow against the correspondingly designed lower surfaces of the fireclay panels, whereby these are heated and radiate their heat downwards. This creates the top heat required for roasting and baking. In this case, the plates are expediently used in the longitudinal direction of the entire grill space as elongated, rectangular plates, under each of which there is a nozzle tube that blows a series of flames against the plate in question.
In the drawing there is a grill oven with two such burners,
shown, namely Fig. i shows a section through the furnace and Fig. 2 the associated
Layout.
The oven itself is marked with i, its grate for receiving the food with 2. In the upper part of the oven liegan two elongated, rectangular fireclay plates 3 and 4, under deften the burner tubes 5 and 6 are seen in front. These burner tubes. have a row of nozzle openings on each side, from which the flames blow against the somewhat curved lower surfaces of the fireclay panels 3 and 4. As a result, the plates are heated up strongly and radiate their heat as a top bit on the food lying on the 2. grid.
The number of Scliamotte plates and burner can be arbitrary. The gas is expediently fed to the burners as compressed gas and mixed with compressed air. If necessary, the burner can still draw in secondary air by itself.
Instead of the burner in the middle. to arrange the plate, one can
also provide such burner tubes on the two Rändem.jeder plate that their surfaces
to blow inward.
