Nachfolgende Erläuterung soll die Wirkungsweise des Gebläses kennzeichnen. Der im Schweißofen auf Schweißhitze erwärmte Röhrenstreifen a. wird im normalen Ziehprozeß durch einen Ziehtrichter c gezogen, wobei die Streifenkanten b stumpf zusammenstoßen und durch die im Ziehring auftretende Pressung verschweißen. Zur einwandfreien Verschweißung der Kanten ist es notwendig, daß die an den Kanten anhaftende Schweißschlacke vollständig entfernt wird. Um dies zu erreichen, wird das vorliegende Gebläse etwa 2o cm vor dem Ziehtrichter, zwischen diesem und dem Schweißofen, auf die Ziehbank aufgesetzt. Das Gebläse besteht aus einem Blasestutzen r mit abwärts gerichteten Blaseschlitzen und einem Barunterliegenden Blasestutzen a mit beidseitig nach oben wirkenden Blaseschlitzen.
