Bei der im Hauptpatent beschriebenen Einrichtung zum magnetischen Verschluß offener Nuten ist ein vollständiger Abschluß der Nuten nur möglich, wenn man die Verschlußstücke so stark unterteilt, daß sich jedes nur über einen Zahn und zwei Nuten erstreckt, und wenn man den Eisenkörper der Maschine aus gegeneinander versetzten Blechen aufbaut (Abb. 6 des Hauptpatents). Will man diese verhältnismäßig umständlichen Mittel vermeiden und trotzdem einen möglichst großen Teil der Nutenöffnungen magnetisch abschließen, so kann man dies erreichen, indem man erfindungsgemäß die Verschlußstücke in achsialer Richtung mehrfach breiter macht als die stehengebliebenen Zahnteile.
