Abstract

A reusable shoulder/arm bandage incorporates a shoulder cap and goes round the top part of the body in a circle. On the uninjured side, the bandage is fastened on the body via a three-part velcro-type fastener so that an individual circular traction can be set. Der Abnäher (10) befindet sich an der breitesten Stelle der Bandage und ent spricht der Schulterkappe (6) in Fig. 1. Die Schulterkappe muß abgepolstert sein, damit sich durch den Abnäher (10) keine Druckstellen im Schulterbereich ergeben. Durch die gedankliche Verlängerung des Abnähers (10) zur Grundkante der Bandage entstehen zwei gleichgroße Teile. Die rechte Hälfte, die an ihrer schmalen Seite das Klettverschlußteil (3) trägt, ent spricht dem Rückenteil der Bandage. Dementsprechend bildet die linke Hälfte mit den Klettverschlußteilen (1) und (2) sowie der u-förmigen Aussparung den ventralen Teil der Banda ge. Die eigentliche Ruhigstellung von Schul ter und Arm erfolgt durch das Ankletten von (2) an (3) oberhalb von (1) in der Art, daß der distale Unterarm und die Hand der kranken Seite durch die u-förmige Aussparung (4) außerhalb der Bandage liegt. Der über den Unterarm verlaufende Abschnitt (5) der u-förmigen Aussparung (4) muß so gearbeitet sein, daß der Unterarm, bei straff sitzender Bandage, nicht einge schnürt wird. Durch die Verwendung eines Klettverschlusses kann die Straffheit der Bandage sehr gut individuell dosiert werden. Wie in Fig. 1 ersichtlich, legt sich die Bandage durch ihre Elastizität um den Ellenbogen, wodurch dieser von unten gestützt wird (7). Zusammen mit der Schulterkappe (6) entsteht dadurch eine sackförmige Ausstülpung, in die Schulter und Arm eingebettet sind. Damit sich beim Anlegen der Bandage eine Schulterkappe bildet, ist ein entsprechender bogenförmiger Abnäher (10) im Schulterbereich erforderlich.To close the bandage, first take the Velcro part ( 3 ) and pull it towards the ventrolateral fuselage wall of the healthy side.
