Abstract

The grant of a patent is applied for in respect of the invention of an apparatus for the manual folding of notepaper, so that the latter, after the folding operation, can be introduced into a window envelope in a manner such that the address field becomes fully visible. The manual methods used hitherto are unsatisfactory. Mechanical methods are economically impracticable for small quantities. The invention allows correct, rapid, reproducible and economical folding of notepaper and annexes thereto for small quantities. The folding flap is closed and the projecting ends of the sheet of notepaper are successively folded over the folding flap to the fold marks.
