Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method according to main patent P 42 08 455.5 and an arrangement the implementation of the method for non-contact three-dimensional measurement, especially of denture models.
Dadurch entsteht ein dreidimensionales Meßvolu men. It is known that a three-dimensional non-contact measurement is a strip of light is projected onto the measured material and this strip of light at an angle through a CCD matrix camera is observed. By evaluating the lateral offset receive measurement information. The stripe light source and the Be observation camera a measuring surface, which in the direction of the optical axis of light source and is stretched in a direction perpendicular to it. The third dimension arises from a linear or rotary relative movement, which is preferably perpendicular to the aforementioned measuring surface. This creates a three-dimensional measurement volume men. Such a light section method is used, for. See, for example, U.S. Patent 4,961,155 described. It is disadvantageous that in this method the material to be measured is measured only by one area is detected. Variants such as the use of a second line projector Achieving a crossed measurement area, as in US Pat. No. 4,961,555, extends the use options. Since only one camera is used here, it is e.g. B. not possible the To comply with the Scheimpflug condition. The same defect is the solution according to DE 40 27 328A at. Here is a second line projector to achieve different inclinations Measuring surfaces described. It is already possible to create more complicated structures to capture. Due to the different inclination of the measuring surfaces with a common one However, it is not possible for the sensor to meet the Scheimpflug condition. A limitation The result is a reduction in accuracy. Due to the fixed position of one, possibly two measuring Areas are the methods described with respect to accuracy, measuring range and detection There are tight limits on the availability of complicated surface shapes.
The object of the invention is to provide a method and an associated arrangement to indicate non-contact three-dimensional measurement, which is a complete acquisition solution of complicated objects, especially with undercuts or with hidden ones Edges.
To solve this problem, several measuring heads, each consisting of one fixed arrangement of line light source with projection optics and associated CCD Matrix camera with imaging optics, freely positionable in space within certain limits arranged. This is due to the possibility of a translational and rotary Ver shift of the material to be measured and a translatory and rotary movement of the Measuring heads realized. With a non-contact three-dimensional image, this will be Material to be measured attached to the translatory and rotary unit. The measuring heads are which is perpendicular or inclined at a certain angle above the material to be measured. By the line light source, consisting of diode laser, collimator optics and cylindrical lenses Arrangement light strips are generated on the material to be measured, which by the respective CCD matrix camera can be detected. The first location information z is acquired according to the optical triangulation principle. A second location information x or r is detected by the CCD matrix perpendicular to the first. The third location information needed y or Φ is determined by evaluating the translatory or rotary movement of the Measured material realized. The sampling density can be varied. The dreidi won Dimensional data are stored in a data record in rectangular, cylindrical or spherical coor dinates summarized. The resulting data set describes a three-dimensional one Surface model. With a relatively simple, small measurement object without an undercut and a spatial dimension, less than the length of a projected light bandes can be measured using only one measuring surface, i.e. H. using only one Measuring head (one-dimensional movement of the object), the entire material to be measured completely be recorded. If a projected light band does not completely cross the target strokes or there are undercuts or hidden edges, the object according to the invention recorded by two or more measuring surfaces. This is done by the Implementation of additional measuring heads realized. Instead of additional measuring heads, the Number of measuring surfaces also possible if existing measuring heads coincide be positioned differently to the material to be measured. Depending on Number of measuring surfaces, several data records in the format described above, which in the An conclude in a data set describing the entire measured material become.
There are two different ways. On the one hand, the individual measuring heads can be local be calibrated. When summarizing, the actual position of the measuring surfaces in the Space through coordinate transformations d. H. through operations of rotation or to take linear displacement into account. On the other hand, a calibration of the entire measuring device d. H. all measuring heads in all positions with a suitable one Calibration body or with several suitable calibration bodies so that all inter essing space points are recorded in a common calibration table, on which can then refer to the measurement values obtained subsequently.
The same surface points of the material to be measured, which may be recorded multiple times, are eliminated in the summary. By tilting one or more measuring heads, it is possible to detect complicated structures of the material to be measured, ie with undercuts or with hidden edges, which cannot be observed from a vertical position of the probe. The location and number of measuring surfaces are generally determined by the information available about the material to be measured before the measurement. If technical objects are to be designed using a CAD system, the number and position of the minimum required measuring surfaces can be derived during the design phase based on the part geometry fixed in the CAD system. Before the measurement, this information is exported to the measuring system. In order to be able to carry out an initial measurement of unknown objects automatically, an independent adaptation of the measuring surfaces to the shape and size of the measured material is required. A suitable system response is brought about by evaluating the image of the projected light strip. If, for example, a certain angle of inclination is exceeded or undershot, in extreme cases the light strip shown is interrupted, an evaluable state can be restored by tilting the measuring head in question. With a linear displacement of measuring heads, extensive measuring material can be detected. A suitable criterion for this is the presence of a height measurement value that is different from the height value of the base area of the measuring device. Depending on the measuring surfaces that are created, individual data records, as already described, are reduced and combined to form an overall data record that comprehensively describes the object to be measured. The arrangement presented consists of a rotary table and a holder for three measuring heads. The three measuring heads are recorded so that each measuring head can be positioned horizontally and vertically and tilted by a certain angle. With a tilt angle of δ 1 (preferably 22.5 °) of the first measuring head relative to the vertical and a tilt angle of & 2 = -δ 1 of the second measuring head relative to the vertical as well as with a third (almost) vertically oriented measuring head, the arrangement is special suitable for measuring dentition models.

In Fig. 1, the measured material 1 is arranged according to the invention on a rotary adjustment unit 2 (X). In order to detect objects of any shape, the measuring head 3 is guided by a three-axis linear displacement device (X, Y, Z) in a portal construction or in a stand construction with the horizontal axes 16, 17 and the vertical axis 18 . With two further axes of rotation 19.20 (Ψ, Ω) the required free positionability of the measuring head is finally achieved. The axis of rotation 2 (X) would not be necessary according to the invention, but enables round parts such as. B. denture models a simpler path control. The drives are controlled by the drive controller 22 , which is connected to the central measuring, control and evaluation computer 23 . The evaluation of the camera signals and the adoption of the position values of the individual drives is carried out by this computer 23 , which also handles the image processing and, using the functions of a CAD system, the object display. The non-contact three-dimensional measurement takes place depending on the external properties of the test objects. The measuring head located vertically or at a defined tilting angle above the material to be measured generates a narrow light strip with laser light source 9 , collimator 10 and cylinder optics 11 , which is projected onto the material to be measured. The projected light band is detected by the CCD matrix camera and the height information is recorded as a deflection. The exact height values are calculated on the basis of the triangulation principle. The determined surface coordinates (z-coordinate, radius r or y-coordinate) as well as the third location information, which is provided by the adjustment units (X, Y, Z, X, Ψ, Ω), are stored in a data set that contains the surface contour describes the measured material. This is followed by an adjustment unit, while maintaining the position of the other adjustment units, a shift or rotation of the measured material and the evaluation of the next light section. This measurement is carried out until the entire measured material has been recorded or predetermined limit values have been reached. The sample density can also be specified. If the material to be measured exceeds the length of the projected light band, it must be processed in two or more measuring processes. An independent surface data record is generated for each measurement process, which describes the relevant section of the measurement object. After complete registration, the partial data sets are combined to form a uniform data set, with any overlaps that may occur being eliminated. If the material to be measured has covered edges or undercuts, a change in the position of the measuring plane is required not only by shifting the material to be measured, but also by using a tilted measuring head. These additional measurement planes generated by tilting, like the linearly shifted measurement planes described above, are included in the overall data set, the angle of the tilting being measured and included in the calculation of the actual surface coordinates. The tilt can be determined on the basis of preliminary information about the material to be measured. The system can also independently, e.g. B. react to an interruption of the projected light band. The evaluation of the inclination of the light strip shown can also be used as a further criterion. The evaluation is carried out analogously in the manner described above. The arrangement presented is particularly suitable for measuring Gebißmo models.
In FIG. 2 a rotational adjustment unit 2 is arranged on a translatori adjustment rule 5 according to the invention, on which the material to be measured is fixed to be measured 1 in a suitable manner. On a base plate 14 , two measuring heads are attached, which are tilted differently with respect to the base plate. This base plate 14 attached to a vertically arranged rotary adjustment unit 7 so that a measuring head is perpendicular, the other is tilted, above the material 1 to be measured. By using two measuring heads, the measuring and evaluation time is reduced considerably. After an initial positioning and calibration, the position of the measuring heads for certain measured material geometries can be maintained, so that the measuring accuracy increases.
In Fig. 3, three measuring heads are arranged according to the invention so that the measuring surfaces of the three measuring heads 3 , 4 , and 5 can completely grasp a dentition model with a single rotary motion. Such an arrangement enables high measuring rates since three matrix signals are available simultaneously. However, it is also possible to achieve a high measuring accuracy, since after a single adjustment by a horizontal adjustment element 16 to compensate for different denture diameters, by a vertical adjustment element 18 to compensate for different model heights and by fixing the tilt angle, preferably + 22.5 °, -22.5 ° and 0 ° compared to the norms for measurement except the rotation of the table 2 no further movements are required.
In FIG. 4, the arrangement of the elements is illustrated a measuring head. A laser source 9 generates visible or infrared light. A light strip is generated and projected onto the object by a collimator 10 and cylinder optics 11 . This is imaged onto the matrix 13 of a CCD matrix camera 12 using a triangulation angle α with a lens 15 . In order to achieve a sharp image, the matrix 13 is inclined relative to the optical axis of the imaging beam path by the angle α 'according to Scheimpflug conditions. If the individual components are designed accordingly, a right angle can be achieved between the object plane spanned by the laser and the image plane. The projection of the CCD matrix into the object plane gives the measuring surface 6 or 7 or 8 . With a rectangular matrix, it is trapezoidal and non-linearly divided in the scanning direction z.
In FIG. 5, corresponding to FIG. 3, three measuring surfaces 6 , 7 and 8 are spanned by three measuring heads 3 , 4 and 5 . The sample 1 , a bit model, is located on the rotary table 2 . The sectional view and plan view make it clear that all details of the measured material can be detected with a single rotary movement.
