In einem Fufs A ist eine Säule B hoch und tief einstellbar angeordnet (s. Fig. 1 bis 5 oder Fig. 7 bis 9) das eigentliche Arbeitshaltestück E angebracht ist. Letzteres besteht aus einer Grundplatte b, welche sich um den Mittelzapfen d e drehen läfst. Diese Grundplatte ist mit Schlitzen ρ zur Ein- und Feststellung der Leistenhalter f versehen. Letztere lassen sich mittelst Schrauben g je nach Erfordernifs und Gröfse des zu bearbeitenden Fufsbekleidungsstückes eng oder weit ein- und feststellen. Ferner dienen die Leistenhalter dazu, das Zuschneide- oder das Klopfbrett zwischen sich aufzunehmen, zu welchem Zwecke die Aussparungen h (s. Zur Sicherung der Festhaltung ist das Sperrrädchen k nebst Klinke / angeordnet. Soll das Arbeitsstück in waagrechter Lage behandelt werden, so wird der stärkere Theil d des Plattenzapfens e, Fig. 2, 3, 5, 7 und 9, in die erweiterte Ausbohrung m der Säule eingesetzt (s. Fig. 1 und 7). Es kann in dieser Lage die Festhaltung mittelst Preisschraube J bewirkt werden. Soll das Werkstück seitlich bearbeitet werden, so hebt man den Zapfen d aus der Säule heraus und legt die Platte b herum, so dafs ihre vorher waagerechte Fläche in senkrechte Stellung gelangt (s. Fig. 2 bis 4 und 9). Hierbei kann die Lage der bezw. Stellung der Platte ebenfalls fixirt werden, indem man die untere Stellschraube G festzieht. Jedoch kann man auch nicht nur die Grundplatte b selbst in dem Zapfen e drehen, sondern der in der Säule B befindliche Stiel kann gedreht werden, so dafs der starke Plattenzapfen d auf den Rand η der Säule läuft (s. Fig. 2, 3 und 9). Um die Grundplatte b auf dem Tragzapfen d e zu befestigen, dient der schiebbare Stift H, Fig. 4 und 5, welcher bei Feststellung der Platte b auf d in eine der Vertiefungen o, Fig. 3, greift. Durch die verschiedenartige Verstellbarkeit der Grundplatte b kann das Werkstück in jede beliebige Lage gebracht und jederzeit bequem bearbeitet werden.
