Der Abstellhahn besitzt das Ventilgehäuse a mit dem Ventilteller b, der an der Ventilspindel c angebracht ist. Die Ventilspindel ist in der Stopfbüchse d verschraubbar und steht mit ihrem mehrkantigen Ende e vor. Auf dem Ventilgehäuse ist verstellbar, beispielsweise mittels Gewinde, eine Hülse f aufgesetzt, an der die Deckkappe g leicht auswechselbar befestigt ist. Die Befestigung geschieht mittels Bajonettverschlusses. Zu diesem Zwecke ist in die Kappe g eine aus Metall bestehende Befestigungshülse h eingesetzt, welche Bajonettschlitze * trägt, die über Zapfen k der Hülse f fassen. Zweckmäßig sind die Bajonettschlitze i, so wie in Abb. 2 dargestellt, zweiseitig ausgeführt. Der mehrkantige Zapfen e der Ventilspindel faßt in eine den Griff I tragende Führungs- und Mitnehmerhülse m, die drehbar in der Drehkappe g eingesetzt ist. Die Führungshülse m ist langer als der Hub der Ventilspindel ausgeführt, so daß der Spindelzapfen beim Drehen des Griffes sich, ungehindert in der Hülse verschieben kann. Der Hahngriff I kann in beliebiger Weise auf der Hülse m beispielsweise mit Bleiglätte o. dgl. befestigt sein. Der Hahngriff ist so ausgebildet, daß er vorn vollständig dicht ist und die Spindel nyiht über ihn vorstehen kann.
