Die auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Maschine bezweckt die Herstellung einer Kette, welche in Fig. 12 in gröfserem Mafsstabe gezeichnet ist, und bei welcher die Glieder abwechselnd durch Hohlkugeln und Metallstäbchen gebildet werden. Das Arbeitsverfahren ist derart, dafs zwischen die Walzen W0 W0, Fig. ι bis 3, ein Messingdraht von der Dicke d, Fig. 4, geschoben wird, der bei der eigenartigen Gestaltung der Walzen W0 die in Fig. 5 gezeichnete Form erhält.
