Auf allen Wasserfahrzeugen aller Art, Form und Größe gibt es geeignete Flächen, wo Solarzellen angebracht und betrieben werden können. Die Segel bzw. dessen Schiffsrümpfe können ebenfalls mit den für sie geeigneten Solarzellen bestückt werden. Für die Segel gibt es Solarfolien bzw. in Folien eingeschweißte Solarzellen, bzw.
