Da die modernen leistungsstarken Fahrzeuge oft sehr leise laufen und ABS- bzw. Der Lagerring wird über ein Wälzlager, vorzugsweise Nadella­ ger 7, durch den Exzenter 5 angetrieben. Es kann aber statt des Wälzlagers 7 auch nur eine Gleitlagerung der Kolben 2, 3 auf dem äußeren Lagerabschnitt 15 vorgesehen sein.
