Description
Metalle sitzen.Process for the representation of combined metal gelatoses. Gelatose silver compounds are known to be used for the local treatment of infected mucous membranes, especially with Gonorrhea infected, used. The important observation has now been made that at the same time silver and other metals, such as. B. Zinc, copper, cadmium, mercury and other chemotherapeutically effective metals can attach. In this way, combined metal gelatoses are obtained that are not as a mixture of silver gelatose on the one hand and zinc etc. gelatose on the other but in which, as noted, both on the same gelatinous nucleus Silver as well as any other metal or metals sit.
These peculiar metal gelatoses have compared to a simple one Metal gelatose not only have an increased therapeutic effect, but also help In a suitable combination, there are also fewer side effects. So z. B. at of a silver-zinc gelatose, the naturally clinging irritant effect of the silver is essential mitigated.
Examples: i: i oo g gelatose are dissolved in zoo ccm water, with Sodium hydroxide solution and made weakly alkaline with concentrated aqueous solutions of 8, o g silver nitrate and 22, o g zinc sulfate added. The silver-zinc gelatose will Brought to dryness in a vacuum and forms a yellowish white powder that dissolves in water is soluble with a neutral reaction and contains 5 percent silver and 5 percent zinc.
Proceed as in example i, but instead of 22, use g Zinc sulfate 19.5 g of copper sulfate added. After drying, a green one remains Powder that is soluble in water with neutral reaction and 5 percent silver and Contains 5 percent copper.
Replace the specified amount of zinc sulfate in example i with 13.5 g of cadmium nitrate and brings the gelatose compound to dryness, so one obtains a Pale yellow product soluble in water with a neutral reaction, containing 5 percent silver and contains 5 percent cadmium.
q.. Instead of 8. o g silver nitrate, 16. o g silver nitrate is used and proceed as in example, replacing the zinc sulphate with 1.5 g of mercury acetate i. The light yellow powder obtained dissolves in water and with a neutral reaction contains 10 percent silver and 1 percent mercury.
The silver-nickel obtained using 2 ¢, o g nickel sulfate = gelatose forms a light powder that is soluble in water with a neutral reaction. It contains 5 percent silver and 5 percent nickel.
Gelatoses with a higher metal content can also be produced. At Instead of nitrates and sulfates, other salts can also be used. The procedure is not limited to the procedure given in the preceding examples; @ Rather, other known processes for the preparation of gelatose-silver compounds can also be used serve, be used.
