Description
The invention relates to the control of a training device for interval training according to the preamble of claim 1.
Man vergleiche z. B. die Erläuterungen zum "Autotrainingsmodus" in der DE 41 07 323 A1.Physical training equipment is widely used in sports as Exercise equipment, at home as an exercise bike, in rehabilitation and medical practice as Ergometer. Most devices are equipped with a measuring device for the actual pulse frequency of the Equipped. Electronics built into the device monitor the pulse frequency and either triggers one if a maximum value entered by the doctor is exceeded Alarm off or reduces the effect of the braking device built into the device and thus the physical effort to be exerted by the patient. This is supposed to be a physical Overload of the exerciser can be prevented. Compare e.g. B. the explanations on the "car training mode" in DE 41 07 323 A1.
The optimal or maximum training pulse frequencies for the individual exerciser must be specified individually by the trainer or doctor. This can be essentially based only on his experience. But they are also procedures have been proposed (DE 35 46 569 C, DE 38 10 042 A), with the help of which the optimal Training pulse rate for each individual exerciser with the help of a computer can be calculated.
It is also known that interval training, in which intervals are increased Alternate performance requirement with recovery intervals, for a faster and leads to better training success than continuous training (DE-Zeitschrift für Kardiologie, 1990, p. 689). The amount and duration of the burden during the performance period on the one hand and the recovery period, on the other hand, are determined by the trainer or doctor due to Experience values given. With these devices, the actual pulse frequency of the Exercisers measured; however, it does not interfere with the control of the device, so that its braking effect in the high-load phase is not reduced and the training is not is affected.
The present invention has for its object the control for Interval training with training devices of the type mentioned at the beginning improve that an optimally successful interval training is possible.
This object is achieved by a generic control with the features according to the characterizing part of claim 1.
In the control according to the invention, the values for the power and Recovery phases no longer as performance data for the brake of the training device, but as upper and lower target pulse rate values. It is like in interval training Usually, during the performance phase, the performance to be provided by the trainee the value of his individual continuous performance increases during the recovery phase lowered accordingly. According to the invention, the performance phase corresponds to the time in which the pulse rises to the upper pulse setpoint, the recovery phase of the time in which the pulse drops to the lower pulse setpoint. The exerciser is not overloaded possible. In particular, however, the trainee is now under-stressed and a resulting insufficient training success is recognized and corrected.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the target pulse frequencies are also Help from factors from the individual's continuous exercise pulse rate calculated. As before, the individually correct value of the continuous power pulse frequency is determined by Trainer or doctor entered based on his experience or with one of the known ones Procedure (DE-OS 38 10 042, DE-PS 35 46 569) automatically determined.
In principle, other body reactions of the Trainees are evaluated, e.g. B. the Blood oxygen content, respiratory rate, etc., pulse rate has however proven to be optimal.
Based on the drawing, the invention in the form of a Embodiment will be explained.
A schematic representation of a training device for interval training in the form of a bicycle ergometer with a bicycle 1 to be operated by the exerciser with pedals and an endless chain 2 for power transmission to a brake wheel 3 can be seen . In this case, the braking effect is generated with the aid of an electromagnet 4 , which is fed from a suitable power amplifier 5 . The power amplifier 5 is controlled via control electronics 6 with a target-actual comparator for the actual value f0 and the target values f1, f2 of the pulse frequency.
Diese rechnet anhand der ihr einprogrammierten Faktoren K1, K2 die vom Pulsfrequenzgeber 10 gelieferte Dauerleistungspulsfrequenz f um in die Soll-Pulsfrequenzwerte f1, f2.The actual pulse frequency f0 of the exercising person, symbolized here by his heart 8 , is recorded by a pulse frequency meter 7 and reported to the control electronics 6 as an electrical signal. The target pulse frequencies f1, f2 for the high-performance or recovery phase are supplied by a computing unit 9 . Using the factors K1, K2 programmed into it, this converts the continuous power pulse frequency f delivered by the pulse frequency generator 10 into the target pulse frequency values f1, f2.
As the figure clearly shows, the organism of the exercising person, symbolized here by his heart 8 , is looped into the closed control loop of the training device. The reaction of the organism to the given training program is thus completely recorded and implemented in an optimal training process with optimal training success.
It is understood that the numerical values of the factors K1, K2 can be changed if necessary. It also goes without saying that the computing unit 9 and the pulse frequency generator 10 can also be combined, so that the target pulse frequencies f1, f2 can also be input directly as absolute values.
