Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a needled Carpet according to the preamble of the main claim and a needle carpet.
Known needled carpets have a carrier that consists of a Foil or from a ribbon fabric z. B. consist of polypropylene can. An intermediate layer of fibers is arranged on this carrier net, from a carpet layer from the later visible, esp its fibers is covered. These three layers are interrelated delt, in particular fibers from the carpet layer in the interme layer and the carrier needled.
Through the bottom or intermediate layer of the carpet, this should one gets thicker and on the other hand the intermediate layer serves to to better hold the fibers needled from the top layer of carpet. This intermediate layer is usually 2-3 mm thick. Although cheaper fibers are used for the intermediate layer, so fall considerable costs for these fibers in their processing. In addition, the intermediate layer made of fibers contributes to one increased latex consumption.
The fibers held in the intermediate layer are after the Verna deln thereby firmly enough that the carpet with a Binder, such as a latex, soaked or at least from below is splashed up to the upper edge of the intermediate layer. Thereby the top layer fibers in the carpet are reinforced so that they are firm are anchored and do not pull out when using the carpet let go. The drying process of one in this process posed carpet is expensive in terms of energy and time. Also have to larger machines are used and the process is closely monitored will. Introducing and crosslinking the latex into the carpet causes a large and therefore expensive production effort, whereby especially waste water and exhaust air problems occur. The finish Development process of a raw material is therefore very complex. Also are these carpets have the disadvantage that old carpets only sweat are to be disposed of as the latex components differ from the others Parts of the carpet can be separated very poorly and that Inevitably, elastomers in the total raw material content are usually non-uniform are.
The invention has for its object a generic Ver drive, after which a needled carpet is made design that no more latex has to be used and the tep pich by using fewer fibers with the same or bes our quality is still cheaper, but especially a significant one shorter throughput time in production is required.
This task is characterized by the procedure characterized in the main claim ren solved, whereby a needle punched carpet according to the invention obtained becomes.
According to the invention, the intermediate layer is uneven, thermoplastic Plastic film material used. The film material used is so "enlarged in volume" that three-dimensionally deformed material is present. These can be pieces with "volume increase" act similarly to "cups" or pimpled films in which the Level protruding surveys are available. But it can film strips or pieces of film are also used, in particular also with bulk increased by coils, curls, embossing and the like volume. These are particularly easy to use; you can choose during the manufacturing process to uniform layers by Ab throw out of a discharge device. In the we Substantial flat foils can be distributed over several areas Make the stretch so that a large number of surveys are created. If a number of such foil parts, foil strips or foils are not needles on top of each other, so they take up a very large volume men, which is a multiple of the specific volume of the ver corresponds to the film material used. Even after needling and Hot setting of this multilayer film material is the intermediate layer of such a "thermoplastic activated" needled tep pichs, also due to the fiber deflection in the intermediate layer more cushioning than if only several flat foils are used. The loose layering of the foils makes it easier to needle them in possible.
An intermediate product needled in this way is at least partially water softening or melting of the film material is heated and pressed between at least two rollers. In particular the fibers needled into or through the intermediate layer deflected from their vertical needling direction and zwi slightly larger areas of superimposed layers of the film materials pressed. By softening the film material, esp special of the lumpy film material, not only individual layers the same with each other, but also the needled fibers with the Glued film material. However, the fibers are separated by the twos Schenschicht held so that a fixation with latex or the like. is no longer necessary. The possibly coalesced by rolling Pressed fibers of the top layer can then by z. B. on brushes can be erected again.
Especially when using polypropylene fibers and polyolefinfo lien or polyethylene films there is a good surface bond between the fibers and the polyolefin films. However, polyamide are also suitable or polyester fibers and a film mat that sticks well to these fibers rial. It is essential that the melting point of the fibers of the top layer is above the melting point of the film material, so when heated and pressing the intermediate product only melts or adheres to the film sticks and cakes if necessary. This is e.g. B. the case with poly propylene fibers with a melting point of around 170 degrees Celsius and high printed polyethylene films with a melting point of around 110 degrees Celsius.
The fibers of the cover layer can also be spherical as a so-called fiber ball are present, from which the individual fibers for needling process to be drawn. For example, it can be made on a support Polypropylene tape a film interlayer with 800 g per square square meter and a fiber ball layer with 300 g per square meter be placed, and the two layers needled to the carrier and are then solidified by the influence of heat and pressure. With egg ner layer consisting of fiber balls is a smaller number of Fibers needled into the film and backing layer than with an upper layer which z. B. is used to manufacture a needle felt carpet; the Balls have a thread-like interlacing, although not all Fa The needle of the ball is needled into the film layer like needle felting the must, but only those who attach the ball serve. Nevertheless, due to the use of a film layer excellent integration of the surface layer / spherical fiber.
Since uneven film material is to be used, it is according to one Special embodiment of the invention possible as a film material for the intermediate layer - at least essentially - only waste films material to use. Waste film material is now in such large quantities that its disposal be very difficult rode. The Ent supply of waste films can be improved.
Such a needled, consisting only of certain plastics Carpet can come later if it is after many years or decades should no longer be used, much easier to reprocess as a needle-punched carpet coated with latex. Furthermore Such carpets are little susceptible to fungi and microbes as they are completely are synthetic.
A needled manufactured according to the inventive method Carpet is described in claims 12 to 18. More single units and advantages result from the dependent claims and embodiments described with reference to the drawing.

A system for producing the needled carpets according to the invention has a discharge device 1 , a conveyor device 2 and a rolling device 3 . The films or film pieces or film strips 4 which have been discharged from the discharge device 1 are deposited on a carrier 5 or stacked in two or more layers. An intermediate layer 6 formed in this way is covered by an upper layer 7 , which consists of a material containing active needling fibers. This material can be carpet fibers or carpet balls. The intermediate layer 6 is then needled with the upper layer 7 removed fibers 9 with the carrier 5 . A schematic representation of the needled intermediate layer 5 can be found in FIG. 2 . The intermediate layer 6 forming volumenverlarer th foils 8 form a loose structure through which the needles with the fibers 9 of the top layer 7 can penetrate particularly well. The vertical needling direction and the course of the fibers 9 can be clearly seen from FIG. 2. The needled intermediate product then passes through the rolling section 3 , in which it is heated by the action of temperature, preferably from the carrier side. As a result, the foils 8 of the intermediate layer 6 soften and tend to cake. This effect is additionally supported by the Druckeinwir effect of the roller section, ie the foils 8 are compressed by the rolling process to the effect that a compact structure 10 is created in the intermediate layer 6 , in which the fibers 9 are firmly anchored in a substantially uniform film material 10 are such that they can practically no longer be pulled out of the finished carpet.
An example is the material composition of a so produced Carpet explain in more detail: There are waste films with a thickness of 2 µm up to 5 µm in pieces of about 15 mm × 40 mm, so that a volume film chip layer of about 1000 g per square meter ter arises. A film layer thickness of about 15-35 mm educated. This intermediate layer gives a final thickness of the finished Pro product of 2-3 mm. The intermediate layer can also be made from foils exist of different sizes; after sufficient mixing an approximately even distribution of the various pieces of film one another.
In FIG. 4, a carpet is shown in which the top layer 7 is in the form of fiber balls 11. The individual fibers 12 are firmly integrated into the film material of the intermediate layer 6 after needling by the influence of pressure and temperature.
The needled carpets produced by the process according to the invention are particularly good at soundproofing, are very easy to care for and are durable. They can also be treated wet. In addition, due to the fact that the fibers 9 are anchored particularly firmly in the intermediate layer 6 , these carpets are cut-resistant and do not leak.
