Description

The invention relates to an electrical component, in particular their chip inductance such as air coil, RF choke or Transformer, with a solid core part with a vertical prismatic spatial form, in particular cuboids, cubes or Cylinder consisting of ferromagnetic or electric non-conductive material, especially ferrite, ceramic or plastic, with a single or multi-layer wrap ren and one opposite parallel ends of the winding partly separated changing room and with in the area of the forehead ends arranged electrical contact elements that a part intended for winding the winding ends point, which is connected to the winding ends in an electrically conductive manner that is.

Such a component is known from EP 0 177 759 B1. There, the contact elements are plate-shaped and arranged in the area of the front ends of the core part ten recesses, e.g. B. grooves, slots or the like supported. The production of such core parts with slot-shaped recesses, however, is quite expensive siv and thus makes the finished component more expensive considerable.

The object of the invention is therefore the above To design electrical component such that it is in ko most inexpensive way can be produced.

This object is achieved in that the Recesses in the front ends of the core part have and that the electrical contact elements in these recesses are clipped or snapped.

Advantageous configurations of the electrical component according to the invention are set out in the subclaims.

The invention is illustrated by the following example le explained.

In the associated single figure, a chip inductivity 1 is shown. The chip inductor 1 consists of a solid core part 2 in a cuboid shape. For manufacturing, for example, an HF choke, the core part 2 is made of magnetic material, in particular ferrite, while it is for manufacturing, for example, an air coil made of electrically non-conductive material, in particular ceramic or plastic.

The core part 2 has a winding space 5 which is offset from the parallel ends 3 , 4 and in which the winding 6 of the chip inductor 1 is arranged.

The front ends 3 , 4 of the core part 2 have undercuts ne recesses 7 , 8 , in which the electrical, flat-shaped contact elements 9 , 10 are clipped or snapped. To support the fixation, the contact elements 9 , 10 can additionally be fastened to the front ends 3 , 4 of the core part 2 by an adhesive layer 11 , 12 .

The contact elements 9 , 10 have in the region of the front ends 3 , 4 a U-shaped part 14 intended for winding the winding ends 13 of the winding and projecting beyond the contact elements 10 , 11 in the region of the end ends 3 , 4 .

The winding ends 13 are sandwiched in part 14 during the winding process. The winding ends 13 are then welded to the contact part 10 .

This welding takes place at the edge of the contact element 10 , because on the one hand the residual wire is also melted and on the other hand the melt is formed in such a way that the coil wire 13 is embedded in the melt without changing its cross section. The welding process can be carried out in such a way that, by exact centering of the part to be welded and, for example, a laser welding device, welding is carried out at the correct point, z. B. the part to be welded and the laser welding device are matched to one another by means of image recognition systems so that the welding is carried out at the desired position.

After manufacture of the winding and welding of the winding ends 13 , the chip inductor receives an envelope 15 made of a plastic, for. B. epoxy. If a shielding is desired, 15 finely divided carbonyl iron or ferrite particles can be contained in the covering.

After the casing 15 has been produced , the ends 16 , 17 of the electrical contact elements 9 , 10 are bent over the casing 15 . In order to keep the dimensions of the chip inductance as small as possible, recesses 18 , 19 can be arranged in the casing 15 , which receive the ends 16 , 17 of the contact elements 9 , 10 .

If a chip inductance is to be produced without a covering, copper enamelled wires with high-temperature-resistant enamel insulation are preferably used for the winding 6 in order to ensure the required resistance to wave soldering.
