Abstract

The coil (3) is wound on a former (2) and encased in a sheath (1) of magnetic material which fits closely around the coil former and is finished flush with one of its surfaces. Connection pins (4) are brought out from the ends (5) of the winding. The starting material for the magnetic sheath may be a mixt. of presintered ferrite or carbonyl iron and a plastic powder. The pins may be matched conventionally to e.g. surface mount or plug-through applications. ADVANTAGE -Mfg. cost is reduced by simplified combination of the coil former and surrounding magnetic material.

Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein induktives Bauelement nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung.The present invention relates to an inductive component according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for its manufacture.

Bisher werden induktive Bauelemente so hergestellt, daß ein eine Wicklung tragender Spulenkörper mit mindestens einem fer­ tigen Ferrit-Kern zusammengesetzt wird. Dies kann beispiels­ weise mittels eines Montageautomaten oder von Hand erfolgen.So far, inductive components have been manufactured so that a a winding-carrying bobbin with at least one fer ferrite core is assembled. Fig. 4 zeigt ein bekanntes Beispiel für eine induktive Spule mit einem Einzel-Ferrit-Schalenkern 1, in den ein eine Wicklung 3 tragender Spulenkörper 2 eingesetzt ist. Die Wicklung 3 ist über Anschlußstifte 4 elektrisch zugänglich, an welche das Ende des Wicklungsdrahtes in Form einer Wickellocke 5 eingewickelt und angelötet ist. Eine derartige induktive Spule findet bei­ spielsweise als Sensor für induktive Näherungsschalter Anwen­ dung. Eine solche Spule ist beispielsweise aus dem Siemens-Da­ tenbuch 1990/91 "Ferrite und Zubehör", Seite 310 im Prinzip bekannt. Siemens-Datenbuch, Seiten 180 und 181 bekannt. Bei der Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen induktiven Bau­ elementes nach den Fig. 1 und 2 entspricht der Spulenkörper 2 und die von ihm getragene Wicklung 3 den entsprechenden Ele­ menten des oben erläuterten bekannten induktiven Bauelementes nach den Fig. 4 bis 6. Anstelle des Schalenkerns 1 nach den Fig. 4 und 6 ist eine entsprechende Umhüllung 1 aus magne­ tischem Material vorgesehen, die den die Wicklung 3 tragenden Spulenkörper 2 derart formschlüssig umgibt, daß sie mit einer Fläche des Spulenkörpers 2 im wesentlichen bündig abschließt. Im Ausführungsbeispiel handelt es sich dabei in der Zeichen­ ebene gesehen um die Oberseite.
