Abstract

In a paint spraying cabin (K) the greater part of the reconditioned effluent air (AL) is returned direct to the cabin. The novelty is that the effluent air passes through a two-stage washer system (W) in which the first stage (W1) is primarily a particle separator, and the second stage is a fine separator for residual water and reconditions the effluent air (AL); that both washer stages receive water (UW) from independent supplies (WV1 and WV2), and that a cooler (KL) is incorporated in the second washer stage (W2); that a heat exchanger (WT) is installed in the clean air circuit (RL) preceded if necessary by a ventilator; that a flotation assembly with paint sludge remover is installed in the first stage (W1) water (WV1) drain (LS); and that an absorption assembly is installed in the cabin roof if the paints used contain solvents. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement facilitates filtration and cleaning of air discharged from paint spray booths. The arrangement is suitable for use within a closed environment.

Description

The invention relates to an exhaust air cleaner system according to the preamble of the patent application Proposition 1. Objective and thus task at the same time there is the generation of clean air quality, for the purpose of energy saving  and emission reduction immediately again for the return to the spray booth and thus for an at least predominant recirculation mode suitable is.

This task is generally solved by the measures specified in claim 1. The sub-claims relate to this necessary technical training of the basic system and structural details of the washer design.

A schematic representation of the function and the system lung also illustrates the new system, the based on this representation in the following is explained in more detail.

For the cleaning of the exhaust air AL as the spray booth K, a two-stage scrubber system W can be seen in the system diagram shown, in which the first scrubber stage W 1 serves primarily for the post-cleaning of the exhaust air AL arriving from the spray booth K in the form of a particle separation and in the second Laundry stage W 2 a fine separation of the residual water including conditioning of the exhaust air AL takes place, both laundry stages W 1 and W 2 being supplied with circulating water UW from their own water supply WV 1 and WV 2 and in the water circuit UW of the second laundry stage W 2 a cooler KL is arranged.

This cooler mainly serves the air con ditioning, d. H. especially the cooling of the exhaust air by supercooled washing liquid and thus the Separation of water from the exhaust air, i.e. the Humidity reduction.

The system is still planned Arrangement of a heat exchanger WT in the clean air circuit Run Rh, possibly with a fan upstream. This reheating of the saturated clean air Rh causes a by increasing the temperature Reduction of the relative humidity, whereby by the arrangement of a fan in front of the heat exchanger WT the heat generated when the pressure is increased can also be used.

This conditioned pure air Fh can Use of water-based paints in cabin K too at least for the most part now immediately bar to be returned to the cabin while at  The cabins use solvent-based paints circulating air additionally by a likewise known Adsorption device must be directed.

Vervollständigt wird schließlich das gesamte neue Anlagensystem noch durch die Nachordnung einer an sich bekannten Flot-ationseinrichtung mit Lack schlammaustrag zum Ablauf LS der Wasservorlage WV1 der ersten Wäscherstufe W1, sowie zur Sicherheit vorsorglich noch durch ein Zusatzfilter F vor dem Wärmetauscher WT der Reinluft RL.Finally, the entire new system is completed by the reordering of a flotation device known per se with lacquer sludge discharge to the outlet LS of the water reservoir WV 1 of the first washing stage W 1 , and as a precautionary measure by an additional filter F in front of the heat exchanger WT of the clean air RL .

Folgende Hauptmerkmale zeichnen vom baulichen Detail her bei der zuvor beschriebenen Anlage den neuen zweistufigen Wäscher W aus:The following main features characterize the structural detail forth with the previously described system the new one two-stage scrubber W from:

Both scrubber stages W 1 and W 2 are arranged at a vertical distance above one another in a common container B and each of the scrubber stages W 1 and W 2 consists of a finely perforated (exhaust air) through casual bottom BD 1 and BD 2 with water nozzles WD and arranged above them below these floors BD 1 and BD 2 each inclined floor N 1 and N 2 for the water reserve WV 1 and WV 2 , with cascade-like exhaust air connection shaft KK between the two scrubbing stages W 1 and W 2 .

Due to the incoming exhaust air AL, a "swirling" water layer WS is formed on the floors BD 1 and BD 2 , and the cascade-shaped exhaust air guide KK between stages W 1 and W 2 ensures a wastewater-free process.

The entire scrubber is ultimately completed by a lacquer sludge discharge nozzle LSZ at N 1 in the first scrubber stage W 1 and a so-called droplet separator TR in the outlet area of the clean air RL from the scrubber container B and by a fresh water inlet FW to (or above) the second scrubber stage W. 2 ; Means are also provided here for the supply line WÜ of the excess water which arises, among other things, from the conditioning from the upper washing stage W 2 into the lower first washing stage W 1 .
