Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a collecting container for hollow glass a braking device attached below an opening the preamble of claim 1.
The usual collection containers for hollow glass have one or several throw-in openings approximately at head height, from where the throw-in goods at initially empty container falls onto the container floor. Consequently consists of a large part of the glass collecting in the container Shards, which is a high degree of utilization of the container volume allows, but a sorting process is disproportionately difficult or even makes it uneconomical. Sorting is with colorless glass mandatory before recycling in order to separate colored glass parts.
It is therefore also known to use ropes or in collecting containers Tension chains below a slot. The fall energy of thrown in glass and thus the risk of breakage in this way decreased. Has been disadvantageous in this type of braking device proven that the tensioned ropes or chains leave too much space, through which the hollow glass can easily fall through. A tight tension is associated with a high clamping effort. Thrown in hollow glass tends also for jumping, which can only be avoided by high rope tension can be. Assembly and maintenance of the known braking device is consequently expensive.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a collecting container for hollow glass create, in which the proportion of glass breakage in the groupage is considerable is reduced.
This object is achieved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. This creates a container for hollow glass, the Braking device a reliable reduction of the fall energy from Thrown in glass and thus the later sorting based on a less broken glass is simplified. The braking device is also easy to install and low wear. Also the sound intensity when Collision of the glass is significantly reduced.
Further refinements of the invention are as follows Description and the dependent claims.
The invention is illustrated below in the Illustrated embodiment illustrated.
Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch im Vertikalschnitt einen Sammelcontainer für Hohlglas gemäß der Erfindung und Fig. 1 shows schematically in vertical section a collecting container for hollow glass according to the invention and
FIG. 2 is a partial horizontal section along line 2-2 in FIG. 1.
It can be seen in Fig. 1, a container casing 10, for example made of steel, with head-side throw-in openings 12 and 14. A brake device, consisting of an upper brake band 16 and a lower brake band 18, is located within the container. The brake bands 16 , 18 span the entire length of the housing 10 and preferably have a width such that glass, in particular bottles, thrown through the openings 12 , 14 fall onto the brake bands 16 , 18 . The upper brake band 16 is arranged in the upper half of the container housing 10 between two side walls. The upper brake band 16 is preferably attached approximately halfway between the insertion openings 12 , 14 and a container floor 20 (which can be opened for emptying in a manner not shown). The lower brake band 18 preferably extends between the same side walls below half of the upper brake band 16 , and at least partially with From this stood. A central section of the lower brake band 18 is preferably located approximately halfway between the upper brake band 16 and the container floor 20 .
The brake bands 16 and 18 each consist of a textile fabric with a plurality of slots 22 spaced apart from one another. The textile fabric preferably consists of a coated fabric, knitted fabric or another textile product with sufficient tensile strength. Is coated with rubber or a plastic material. The slots 22 are preferably designed as longitudinal slots, the slot width of which is at least 1 cm and is preferably in the range between 1.5 and 4 cm. The web of textile fabric lying between two adjacent slots 22 has a width greater than or equal to the width of the slots 22 and is preferably just in the range between 1.5 and 4 cm. Each brake band 16 , 18 consequently consists of a plurality of sub-bands running in parallel and spaced apart by the slots 22 . The slots 22 preferably do not extend over the entire length of the respective brake band 16 , 18th In the lateral end region, the slots 22 are shortened, so that the sub-bands created by the slots 22 are connected to one another via the lateral ends. Each brake band 16 , 18 can thus be slotted, cloth-like, clamped in the container housing 10 .
The lateral ends of each brake band 16 , 18 are attached to opposite side walls of the container housing 10 , preferably riveted or screwed to strips 24 before. As shown in FIG. 1, the two brake bands 16 , 18 extend with a slight degree of sag between the two lateral attachment points. The lower brake band 18 runs at a distance essentially parallel to the upper brake band 16 . According to a further embodiment, not shown, the lower brake band 18 can also be hung in the container housing 10 with a greater degree of sag than the upper brake band 16 . The lateral ends of the lower band 18 can then be attached together with those of the upper brake band 16 at a fastening point of the side walls of the container housing 10 , which considerably simplifies the assembly. The lower brake band 18 then hangs belly-like under the upper brake band 16 .
The arrangement of the upper brake band 16 and the lower brake band 18 to one another is preferably such that the slots 22 of the lower brake band 18 are offset from those of the upper brake band 16 , as can be seen in Fig. 2.
The function of the brake device described above with an upper and lower brake band is as follows: Thrown-in hollow glasses fall on the upper brake band 16 , which due to its production from a textile fabric is drapable and therefore flexible, so that the slots 22 are under the weight of the hollow glass spread out and the hollow glass can fall down through onto the lower brake band 18 . The partial drop height is then so low that with high probability neither the hollow glass just inserted nor the glasses already in the container break. A second brake band further intercepts the fall energy. Characterized in that the slots 22 of the superimposed brake bands 16 , 18 are offset from one another, the hollow glass falling through the upper brake band 16 is braked again by the lower brake band 18 before this also spreads under the weight of the hollow glass due to the slots 22 and the hollow glass moves further towards the container floor 20 .
According to a further exemplary embodiment, more than two brake bands can also be provided. Instead of longitudinal slots 22, transverse slots can also be provided. Furthermore, the two brake bands 16 , 18 described can also be fastened to different opposite side walls, so that the brake bands 16 , 18 are mounted one above the other rotated.
