Der Nachteil dieses Verfah­ rens ist, daß die eingebrachte Folie an gewissen Stellen beim Verpressen überdehnt wird, Falten bildet oder auch zerreißen kann. Jedwede Überdehnung der Folie ergibt Farbunterschiede im Endprodukt oder nicht bzw. schlecht eingefärbte und rauhe Stellen in der Oberfläche des fertigen Gegenstandes. Die in den Fig. dargestellte Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Förderband 9, mit welchem der Kunststoffgegenstand (hier ein Profilstrang) 1 einem ersten Strahlerschirm 2 zugeführt wird. Der Strahlerschirm 2 besteht aus Infra­ rotstrahlern 10, welche auf den Profilstrang 1 von allen vier Seiten einwirken, wie dies die Fig. 2 zeigt. Die Geschwindigkeit der Zuführung, die Energie der Infrarot­ strahlung 10 und die Wegstrecke durch den Strahlerschirm 2 sind derart aufeinander abgestimmt, daß die Oberfläche 7 des Profilstranges 1 in einer Tiefe von etwa 2 bis 3 mm plastifiziert wird. Anschließend gelangt der Profil­ strang 1 in eine Wirbelkammer 12 mit verwirbeltem Farb­ stoffkonzentrat 15. Durch ein Gebläse 13 wird die Verwirbelung erzeugt und aufrechterhalten. Das Farbkon­ zentrat 15 bleibt an der plastifizierten, klebrigen Oberfläche 7 des Profilstranges 1 gut haften. Es kann hierbei auch das Prinzip der statischen Aufladung mit angewandt werden, wodurch die Farbpartikel vom behandel­ ten Profilstrang 1 angezogen werden, so daß der Farbauf­ trag allseitig gleichmäßig erfolgt. Ein nachgeschalteter Strahlerschirm 4 erhitzt die Oberfläche 7 des Profil­ stranges 1 mit den daran haftenden Farbpartikeln weiter, so daß beim Durchgang durch die anschließende Kalibrier­ düse 5 ein fester Verbund mit dem Kernstück des Profil­ stranges 1 herbeigeführt wird. Gleichzeitig wird die so behandelte Oberfläche 7 geglättet. Im Anschluß an die Kalibriereinrichtung 16 können Glättewalzen 6 ange­ ordnet sein, welche auch gekühlt sein können. Die Glät­ tewalzen 6 können auch als Profilwalzen ausgebildet sein. Anschließend passiert der Profilstrang 1 eine Kühlstrecke 14, die aus einem Wasserbad bestehen kann. Selbstverständlich kann die Kühlstrecke 14 auch mit Kaltluft oder mit einem anderen kalten Medium beauf­ schlagt werden. Im Falle, daß kein Farbauftrag auf den Profilstrang 1 aufgebracht werden soll, kann die Vorrich­ tung auch zum alleinigen Glätten bzw. Strukturieren der Oberfläche 7 des Profilstranges 1 verwendet werden.The apparatus shown in Figs. 1. Verfahren zum Einfärben und/oder Glätten bzw. Strukturieren der Oberfläche von Gegenständen aus Kunst­ stoff, insbesondere aus Recycling-Kunststoff, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
  • a) der Kunststoffgegenstand (1) von einem Strahler­ schirm (2) an der Oberfläche (7) plastifiziert wird,
  • b) der Kunststoffgegenstand (1) durch eine Wirbelkam­ mer (12) mit verwirbeltem Farbkonzentrat (15) gebracht wird,
  • c) der Kunststoffgegenstand (1) in einem nachfolgen­ den Strahlerschirm (4) weiter erhitzt wird,
  • d) der Kunststoffgegenstand (1) durch eine Kalibrier­ düse (5) und/oder Glättewalzen bzw. Strukturierwalzen (6) geglättet bzw. verpreßt wird und daß
  • e) der Kunststoffgegenstand (1) anschließend längs einer Kühlstrecke (14) abgekühlt wird.
