Description

Granular mass for cleaning pipelines, in particular beer pipes. Processes for cleaning beer lines are already known, in which the mechanical Effect of the cleaning compound is associated with a special chemical effect. The cleaning compound used for this purpose consists of prepared sodium silicate beads. However, there are major drawbacks to using these glass beads because they often remain individual pearls in the pipeline and settle between the screw connections. When the cables are screwed together, the pearls are crushed and splintered, and then the sharp glass splinters get into the beer glass when pouring and are thus supplied to the human body. The invention relates to a special implementation of the process known per se and is based on the knowledge that purely mechanical cleaning produces significantly better results if this is done aluminum grist or aluminum pellets can be used as cleaning compound. aluminum has the property of neither attacking the pipe nor the one in the beer existing acid to be attacked, but also in case of bruises is not splintered, but just pressed flat.
