Durch die auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Maschine sollen Knöpfe aus Metall, Steinnufs, Horn etc., sowie andere ähnliche Gegenstände an der Oberfläche mit Verzierungen versehen werden, und zwar ist die Maschine derart eingerichtet, dafs in derselben die in dem Patent No. 35279 geschützte Einspannvorrichtung so angebracht werden kann, dafs dieselbe mit dem zu bearbeitenden Gegenstand rotirt Hierdurch ist es möglich, den in der Einspannvorrichtung enthaltenen Gegenstand, nachdem derselbe auf der Maschine des erwähnten Patentes No. 3527g guillochirt wurde, auf der neuen, vorliegenden Maschine in vervollkommneter Weise zu bearbeiten, ohne dafs ein Umspannen des Gegenstandes erforderlich wäre.The machine shown in the accompanying drawing is intended to make buttons made of metal, Steinnufs, horns, etc., as well as other similar objects on the surface with decorations are provided, and indeed the machine is set up in such a way that in the same those described in patent no. 35279 protected clamping device can be attached so that that it rotates with the object to be processed the jig contained object after the same on the machine of the mentioned patent no. 3527g was guilloched on the new, present machine to work in a perfect way without encompassing the object would be required.

Oberhalb der Patronen sind nämlich an der die Werkzeuge tragenden Vorlage f die Stifte C₁ Cl₁ e_x angebracht, welche so eingestellt werden können, dafs der eine oder andere derselben auf der entsprechenden Patrone aufliegt, so dafs bei der Rotation der letzteren, entsprechend der Form des Umfangs derselben, der Stift bezw. die Vorlage auf- und abbewegt wird. Der die Vorlage haltende Hebelarm f_x wird an seinem die Stifte tragenden freien Ende durch eine Feder stets abwärts gezogen, so dafs der entsprechend eingestellte Stift den Umfang der Patrone stets berührt. In Fig. 3 und 5 sind Patronen verschiedener Gestaltung in gröfserem Mafsstabe dargestellt. Die Werkzeuge oder Stichel S werden in besonderen Kreuzgelenken I, Fig. 8, gelagert, durch welche sie in jedem beliebigen Winkel gegen den zu bearbeitenden Gegenstand eingestellt werden können.
