Die zweckmäßige Breite des vorstehend beschriebenen Schutzdaches bei dessen Verwendung zur Bedeckung einer Reihe von nebeneinanderliegenden Treibhaus-.oder Mistbeetfenstern ist durch Abb. 6 dargestellt. Angenommen, die Treibhaus- oder Mistbeetanlage besteht aus fünf nebeneinanderliegenden Fensterrahmen/. In diesem Falle ist es zweckmäßig, zur Bedachung der Fenster/ sechs Schutzdächer a, d zu verwenden, so daß die letzteren um ein entsprechendes Stück schmaler sind als die Breite der Fensterrahmen/. Diese Maßnahme hat den Zweck, wie Abb. 6 erkennen läßt, daß die Stoßfugen/ zwischen den einzelnen Fensterrahmen / durch die Schutzdächer a, d verdeckt werden und dadurch luft- und wasserdicht gehalten werden können, was sonst, wenn die Schutzdächer a, d dieselbe Breite hätten wie die Fensterrahmen/, nicht zu erreichen wäre. Selbstverständlich könnte man, um denselben Zweck zu erreichen, statt der sechs, Schutzdächer a, d nur vier solcher verwenden, was jedoch den ! Außerdem wird durch die Verwendung des vorliegenden Schutzdaches jeder gärtnerischen Anlage ein sauberes Aussehen gegeben; die beschriebene Einrichtung ist allen bisherigen Bedeckungen für denselben Zweck weit überlegen und läßt wirtschaftliche Vorteile erzielen, indem in allen mit Schutzdächern nach Art dieser Erfindung belegten Gewächsräumen das Wachstum der Pflanzen derart begünstigt werden kann, daß die Ernte drei bis vier Wochen früher zu erreichen ist als · mit Hilfe der bisher gebräuchlichen Bedekkungen.
