Der Ölmeßstab wird durch eine röhrenförmige Anordnung, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, ersetzt. Tritt zwischen Leuchtdiode und Fototransistor eine Flüssigkeit, so wird der Lichtstrom teilweise absorbiert und damit der Widerstand des Fototransistors erhöht. Diese Widerstandsänderung wird zur Anzeige gebracht. Dabei muß die obere Begrenzung des Fototransistors in Höhe des gewünschten Grenzpegels angeordnet sein. Die elektrische Schaltung besteht aus einer einfachen Stabilisation der Betriebsspannung der Leuchtdiode (L), um den Lichtaustritt konstant zu halten. Mit dem Regelwiderstand (R) wird die Steuerspannung einjustiert - etwa 700 mV -. Ist der Fototransistor hochohmig, so wird der Kondensator (C) aufgeladen. Während dieser Zeit ist T1 gesperrt und die Anzeige-Leuchtdiode (A) leuchtet kurz auf. Dies dient zur Funktionskontrolle der Einrichtung beim Einschalten. Die zweite Aufgabe des Kondensators (C) besteht darin, daß kurzzeitige Widerstandsänderungen des Fototransistors, wie sie beim An- oder Kurvenfahren des Kfz. auftreten, nicht zur Anzeige gebracht werden, da der Kondensator die Spannung nicht sofort abfallen läßt.The oil dipstick is replaced by a tubular arrangement as shown in Fig. 1.
