Abstract
Description
Machine dishwashing generally consists of a pre-wash cycle one cleaning cycle, one or more intermediate rinsing cycles, one clear rinse cycle and a drying cycle. This applies to machine rinsing both in the home and in business.
So far, it is mostly common in household dishwashers, in hereinafter referred to as HGSM, the detergent in a dosage box store that is usually in the door of the machine and opens automatically at the beginning of the cleaning cycle. The previously blue The final rinse cycle is without active substance, i.e. exclusively with the tap water operated.
In a commercial dishwasher, hereinafter referred to as GGSM draws, the so-called pre-clearing zone corresponds in principle to the pre-rinse course of an HGSM. When washing dishes in commercial kitchens, this becomes the Rei cleaning agent added in the pre-overflow area clearing zone for supporting cleaning of the adhering food residues set. There are also GGSM in which the pre-clearing zone is only included Fresh water is operated, a pre-clearing zone with detergent additive but is more effective than pre-clearing with fresh water alone.
You also have the principle of action of pre-clearing zone cleaning from GGSM already transferred to HGSM and metering detergents ready for the pre-rinse cycle by adjusting the dosage of cleaning took in tablet form and one or more suitable tablets for example in a free part of the cutlery basket, but also to others Positioned in the machine, making them both in the pre-wash as well as in the actual cleaning cycle, i.e. bifunctional could.
The use of such tablet-shaped cleaning agents is described for example in DE-OS 35 41 145. These are uniformly composed detergent tablets with a broad dissolving profile for machine dishwashing, which contain the usual alkaline components, in particular from the group of alkali metal silicates and pentaalkalitri phosphates, active chlorine compounds and tabletting aids, and in which the alkali metal silicates are made from a mixture of "sodium metasilicate non-silicate Na 2 H 2 SiO 4 .8H 2 O) and anhydrous sodium metasilicate and the pentaalkali metal phosphate consists of anhydrous pentatrium triphosphate, the weight ratio of anhydrous sodium metasilicate: sodium metasilicate nonahydrate being between 1: 0.3 and 1: 1.5 and the weight ratio of pentasodium triphosphate to sodium metasilicate, in each case anhydrous, 2: 1 to 1: 2, preferably 1: 1 to 1: 1.7.
Such tablets have such a broad dissolution profile that they be at least in the pre-rinse cycle of an HGSM from the tap water to be run at least 10% by weight are dissolved, with a pH value in the washing liquor develop from at least 10.0 and still with good hot water solubility at least 60 wt .-%, preferably at least 70 wt .-%, for the Reini are available.
Under release profile, the weight ratio of under the conditions of Pre-rinse of usual HGSM loosened portions of the tablet to the total understood the tablet.
However, the known tablets still contain phosphates, which, as is known are undesirable.
But there are also phosphate-free detergent tablets for that machine dishwashing in stores (e.g. Hui rinsing tabs from Roth GmbH, Bad Ems), which are essentially silicates, nonionic surfactants, or contain ganic complexing agents and percarbonate. When placing of these tablets inside the machine (e.g. in the cutlery basket) they loosen however, largely to completely during the pre-rinse cycle on, so that in the actual cleaning cycle practically no detergent more is available. In addition, the stability of this Ta blatten not satisfactory.
In German patent application P 40 10 524.5 stable, bifunctional Bright, phosphate-free detergent tablets for machine tools Dishwashing with a silicate content, low-foam non-ionic ten described, organic complexing agents, bleaching agents and water, the organic complexing agent according to German patent application P 39 37 469.6 in the form of a granular, alkaline cleaning additive from sodium salts of at least one homopolymer or copolymer Contain (meth) acrylic acid, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate and water. In the manufacture of the tablets, the granular alkaline rice cleaning additives with the other mostly powdered recipe components mechanically mixed and pressed in a manner known per se.
The object of the present invention was now following a market trend based on a stable, bifunctional, phosphate and metasilicate free low alkaline detergent tablet with a wide dissolution profile for the produce automatic dishwashing that is already in the pre-wash cycle HGSM of the incoming tap water to at least 10 wt .-% to about 50% by weight is dissolved, with a pH of at most in the washing liquor developed about 10.5 and with good hot water solubility to min at least 50% by weight to about 90% by weight are available for the cleaning cycle stands.
To produce the known detergent tablets, powder powders were used mix pressed, the sodium metasilicate containing water of hydration nonahydrate still contained anhydrous sodium metasilicate. This station wagon nation of water-containing substances and substances that contain water can lead to an increase in the breaking stability of the tablet storage. Since the tablets of the invention because of the required low alkalinity do not contain any of the raw materials mentioned above can, they are after pressing according to the prior art from Pul do not mix or powder mixtures with a granular fraction stable enough.
It has now been found that stable, bifunctional, phosphate- and metasilicate-free, low-alkaline detergent tablets for automatic dishwashing containing solid alkali salts contain at least one homopolymeric or copolymeric (meth) acrylic acid, framework substances, low-foam surfactants, bleaches, If necessary, enzymes, bleach activators, fragrances and dyes come when the sodium carbonate serving as part of the builders is used in anhydrous form, first in a mixing cycle, preferably alone or with the other builders and the solid alkali salts of at least one homopolymer or copolymer ( Meth) acrylic acid together with the amount of water required for the partial hydration of the anhydrous sodium carbonate, of about 5-40, preferably about 7-20,% by weight, based on the anhydrous sodium carbonate used as the framework substance, and then the rest Add substances to the mixture t and the mixture thus obtained is compressed on a conventional tablet press. The storage-stable tablets produced according to the invention have a high breaking strength (greater than 140 N with a diameter of about 30 to 40 mm and a density of about 1.4 to 1.7 g / cm 3 ), which also remain stable during storage and remain within can significantly increase in a short time.
The solid alkali salts of at least one homopolymer or copolymer (Meth) acrylic acid can be used as a commercially available powder or granules or as so-called cleaning additive can be used.
Suitable homopolymers are polymethacrylic acid and preferably polyacrylic acid, for example those with one molecular weight from 800 to 150,000 (based on acid). Be exclusive homopolymeric polyacrylic acids (in salt form) used, their moles Specular weight in the interest of good pourability and storage stability speed preferably 1000 to 80,000 (based on acid).
Ihr Molekulargewicht, bezogen auf freie Säuren, beträgt im allgemeinen 5000 bis 200 000, vorzugsweise 10 000 bis 120 000.Suitable copolymers are those of acrylic acid with methacrylic acid and preferably copolymers of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid with maleic acid. Copolymers of acrylic acid have been particularly suitable Maleic acid, as they characterize, for example, in EP 25 551-B1 are based. These are copolymers containing 50 to 90% by weight Contain acrylic acid and 50 to 10 wt .-% maleic acid. Particularly preferred are those copolymers in which 60 to 85% by weight of acrylic acid and 40 to 15 % By weight of maleic acid is present. Your molecular weight, based on free Acids is generally 5,000 to 200,000, preferably 10,000 to 120,000.
Mixtures of different homo- and copolymers can also be used with advantage use, especially mixtures of homopolymeric acrylic acid and copolymers of 50 to 90% by weight of acrylic acid and 50 to 10% maleic acid. Such mixtures, which are characterized by favorable Grain properties and high shelf life can, for Example from 10 to 50% by weight of homopolymeric acrylic acid and 90 to 50% by weight Acrylic acid-maleic acid copolymers exist. In these mixtures high polymer polyacrylic acids can also be used, which in al leash more tend to stick or melt the grains as low molecular weight polyacrylates.
The polycarboxylates are used as powders, but preferably as granules used. Useful polyacrylates include, for example Sokalane® CP 10, PA 10 and PM 10 from BASF, Alcosperse® from the company Alco: Alcosperse® 102, 104, 106, 404, 406, Acrysole® from the company Norsohaas: Acrysole® A 1N, LMW 45N, LMW 10 N, LMW 20 N, Degapas® der Degussa: Degapas® 4104 N, Good-Rite® from Goodrich: Good-Rite® K-XP 18, K 739 and K 7200 N. Also copolymers (polyacrylic acid and Maleic acid) can be used, for example Sokalane® from the company BASF: Sokalan® CP 5, CP 7, Acrysole® from Norsohaas: Acrysol® QR 1014 and SP 02N, Alcosperse® from Alco: Alcosperse® 175. The Na trium carbonate (b) and sodium sulfate (c) are in anhydrous form used. With proportions of sodium carbonate of approx. 40% by weight and more it is advisable to reduce the water content (d) of the additives to less than 6 Lower% by weight or choose a slightly higher proportion of sodium sulfate, for example in the range 8 to 15% by weight. Proportions of sodium sulfate from over 10% by weight, preferably 15 to 20% by weight, fundamentally improve the grain properties and shelf life of the additives. Other on the one hand, sodium sulfate is ineffective when using the additives load material, which is why its proportion should be as low as possible. It is very Surprisingly, fractions of 5 to 6% by weight (c) are sufficient to Additives with a content of approx. 50% by weight (a), approx. 40% by weight (b) and approx. Stabilize 4 wt .-% (d) and ensure good pouring properties most.
Der Anteil derartiger Minderbestandteile liegt deutlich unter 1 Gew.-%.The cleaning additives can also contain minor components such as paint contain substances and color pigments and are uniformly or speckled be colored. The proportion of such minor components is significantly below 1% by weight.
Trinatriumcitratdihydrat in Betracht. B. Portil® bzw. AW der Firma Henkel, Britesil® H 24 bzw. C 24 der Firma Akzo). In addition to the alkali carbonates, sodium citrates, nitrilotriacetate, phosphonates and alkali disilicates can also serve as builders. Together with the polycarboxylate-containing cleaning additive component, they bind hardening agents such as calcium and magnesium ions from the water or food residues through complex formation or dispersion, thereby preventing the formation of limescale deposits in the dishwasher and on the dishes. They can be used as anhydrous and / or as hydrate salts. As alkali carbonate sodium carbonate of any quality is preferably used, such as. B. calcined soda, compressed soda and also sodium bicarbonate. Anhydrous trinitrium citrate or trisodium citrate dihydrate are suitable as sodium citrate. The preferred phosphate is the tetrasodium salt of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-di-phosphonic acid (Turpinal® 4 NZ from Henkel). Dried water glass with the module SiO 2 : Na 2 O = 1: 2-2.5 is suitable as a disilicate (e.g. Portil® or AW from Henkel, Britesil® H 24 or C 24 from Akzo) .
Extremely low-foaming nonionic compounds are preferably used as low-foaming surfactants, which serve to better remove fatty food residues and as pressing aids. These preferably include C 12 -C 18 alkyl polyethylene glycol polypropylene glycol ethers, each with up to 8 moles of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide units in the molecule. Their share in the total weight of the finished tablets is generally 0.2 to 5, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight. But you can also use other non-foaming non-foaming surfactants known, such as. B. C 12 -C 18 alkyl polyethylene glycol polybutylene glycol ether, each with up to 8 moles of ethylene oxide and butylene oxide units in the molecule and then, if appropriate, 0.2 to 2, preferably 0.2 to 1 wt .-%, based on the entire ge Tablet, on defoaming agents such. B. silicone oils, mixtures of silicone oil and hydrophobicized silica, paraffin oil / Guerbet alcohols and hydrophobicized silica.
Als Bleichaktivatoren dienen bevorzugt TAED (Tetraacetylendiamin), PAG (Pentaacetylglucose), DADHT (1,5-Diacetyl-2,4-dioxo-hexahydro-1,3,5-triazin) und ISA (Isatosäurean hydrid).Active oxygen carriers are now preferred as bleaching agents Components of cleaning agents for HGSM. This primarily includes Sodium perborate mono- and tetrahydrate as well as sodium percarbonate and Sodium caroate. Since active oxygen only at elevated temperatures of al lein its full effect are activated at about 60 ° C, the temperatures of the cleaning process in the HGSM, appropriate so-called bleach activators are still used. Serve as bleach activators preferably TAED (tetraacetylenediamine), PAG (pentaacetylglucose), DADHT (1,5-diacetyl-2,4-dioxo-hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine) and ISA (isatoic acid an hydride).
Zur besseren Ablösung Eiweiß- bzw. Stärke-haltiger Speisereste können noch Enzyme wie Proteasen und Amylasen eingesetzt werden, beispielsweise Proteasen wie BLAP® der Firma Henkel, Opitmase®-M-440, Optimase®- M-330, Opticlean®-M-375, Opticlean®-M-250 der Firma Solvay Enzymes, Maxacal® CX 450 000, Maxapem® der Firma Ibis, Savinase® T der Firma Novo oder Experase® T der Firma Ibis und Amylasen wie Termamyl® 60 T, 90 T der Firma Novo, Amylase-LT® der Firma Solvay Enzymes oder Maxamyl® P 5000 der Firma Ibis. For better detachment of protein or starch-containing food residues can still Enzymes such as proteases and amylases can be used, for example Proteases such as BLAP® from Henkel, Opitmase®-M-440, Optimase®- M-330, Opticlean®-M-375, Opticlean®-M-250 from Solvay Enzymes, Maxacal® CX 450 000, Maxapem® from the company Ibis, Savinase® T from the company Novo or Experase® T from Ibis and amylases such as Termamyl® 60 T, 90 T from Novo, Amylase-LT® from Solvay Enzymes or Maxamyl® P 5000 from the company Ibis.
The tablet mixtures can also contain customary oxidation-stable color and Fragrances are added. For aesthetic reasons, you can use the tablet with otherwise the same composition also in colored layers squeeze.
The use of tableting aids such as mold release agents for example paraffin oil, is for pressing the tablets according to the invention not required and can usually be omitted if the tablets Mixtures contain non-ionic surfactants that do this task essentially take over. In order to set the desired pH value preferably Na hydrogen carbonate used.
Für Rahmenrezepturen der erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Reinigungsmittel tabletten kommen etwa folgende Bereiche in Betracht:For general formulations of the cleaning agents produced according to the invention Tablets can be used in the following areas:
Das Schüttgewicht beträgt etwa 350 bis 550 g/l.The average grain size of the granular cleaning additives is usual Usually 0.2 to 1.2 mm, the proportion of the grains below 0.1 mm expediently not more than 2% by weight and above 2 mm not more than 20 % By weight. Preferably, at least 80% by weight, in particular at least 90% by weight of the grains have a size of 0.2 to 1.6 mm, where the proportion of grains between 0.1 and 0.05 mm not more than 3% by weight, in particular not more than 1% by weight and the proportion of the grains between 1.6 and 2.4 mm not more than 20% by weight, in particular not more than 10 % By weight. The bulk weight is about 350 to 550 g / l.
The granular cleaning additives are produced by spray drying an aqueous slurry. The slurry concentration is between 50 and 68% by weight (non-aqueous fraction), preferably between 55 and 60% by weight, the viscosity of the paste being decisive, which should not exceed 10,000 mPa · s and advantageously 2500 to 6000 mPa · s is. The temperature of the slurry is usually between 50 and 100 ° C. The pressure at the spray nozzles is generally 30 to 80 bar, preferably 40 to 70 bar. The temperature of the countercurrent dry gases in the entrance zone of the spray tower, ie in the so-called Ringka channel, is advantageously between 200 and 320 ° C, in particular between 220 and 300 ° C. In the area of the tower outlet it should be between 100 and 130 ° C, preferably between 110 and 125 ° C. Such comparatively high operating temperatures are advantageous for the production of a perfect product and, despite the high proportion of combustible organic substance in the spray product, are not critical, since the self-ignition temperature is above 330 ° C. In the interest of favorable grain properties, the drying is preferably carried out in such a way that the water binding is reduced to less than 1 mol of H 2 O per mol of sodium carbonate. Conventional spray drying systems (spray towers) can be used for spray drying, where the spray nozzles can be arranged in one or more levels.
The spray material leaving the tower, optionally after cooling with flowing air, was mixed with the other tablet components as described and then compressed in total on conventional tablet presses with a pressure of 200 to 1500 · 10 5 , preferably 300 to 1000 · 10 5 Pa. The pressing could be carried out in a known manner without die lubrication using commercially available eccentric presses, hydraulic presses or rotary presses. No caking of the tablet mixture was observed on the pressing tools. Tools coated with hard plastic, as well as uncoated, supplied tablets with smooth surfaces, so that in most cases there was no need to coat the stamp with soft plastic.
The pressing conditions were made with a view to setting the desired one Solution profile optimized with sufficient tablet hardness. As The flexural strength can serve as a measure of the tablet hardness (method: ver same ritschel. The tablet, Ed. Cantor, 1966, p. 313). Sufficient Tablets are then stable under simulated transport conditions a bending strength greater than 100 N, preferably greater than 150 N. Die Bending or breaking strength of the tablets can be independent of their format by the degree of compaction, d. H. the baling pressure can be controlled.
Corresponding tablet hardnesses were found in the press specified above press reached. Solubility differences can vary Compositions balanced within limits by variants of the baling pressure will.
The specific weight of the compacts was between about 1.2 and 2 g / cm 3 , preferably between about 1.4 and 1.8 g / cm 3 . The compression during the pressing process brought about changes in the density, which from about 0.4 to 1.2 g / cm 3 , preferably about 0.6 to 1.0 g / cm 3 to about 1.2 to 2.0 g / cm 3 , preferably about 1.4 to 1.6 g / cm 3 rose.
The shape of the tablet can also influence the breaking strength and the dissolving speed via the outer surface exposed to the H 2 O attack. For reasons of stability, cylindrical compacts with a diameter / height ratio of approximately 0.6 to 4.0: 1 were produced.
The tablet was loaded with a wedge to measure the breaking strength continuous The breaking strength corresponds to the weight of the wedge-shaped bela which causes the tablet to break.
The amounts of the substance mixture to be compressed for the individual tablets can be varied as desired within technically reasonable limits. Depending on their size is preferably 1 to 2 or more tablets per Machine filling to apply to the entire cleaning process with the to provide necessary active substance content of detergent. Prefers are tablets of about 20 to 40 g in weight and a diameter of about 35 to 40 mm, one of which must be used.
If sodium carbonate was not hydrated or used as a full hydrate, the quality of the tablets obtained from the mixture for trade un usable because it a. had an insufficient breaking strength. Also the tablets were baked on the upper stamp of the Press.

A 50 kg batch of mixture was placed in a 130 l Lödige ploughshare mixer produced. For this purpose, 6.8 parts by weight of sodium carbonate were initially used anhydrous, 32.0 parts by weight of sodium hydrogen carbonate and 4.0 parts by weight Mix the water while the chopper is running and immediately continue with it 20.0 parts by weight of a granular alkaline cleaning additive, best consisting of 40.8% by weight sodium carbonate anhydrous, 5.0% by weight sodium sulfate, 50.0 wt .-% of the sodium salt of the copolymer of maleic acid and Acrylic acid with a molecular weight of 70,000 (Sokalan CP 5 from BASF) and 4.2 % By weight of water, 20.0 parts by weight of sodium citrate dihydrate, 2.0 parts by weight Plurafac® LF 403 and 0.2 parts by weight of fragrance mixed. Without chopper Then 2.0 parts by weight of TAED, 7.0 parts by weight were used Sodium perborate monohydrate, 0.5 part by weight of BLAP R 140 and 0.5 part by weight Termamyl® 60 T added. The mixture was compressed to 25 g-tablets with a diameter of 38 mm using a round "Korsch PH 423" running press. The filling height in the matrices wore 31-33 mm. The tablets were compressed to a height of 12.3 as well as 15 mm.
Pressing with the deposited mixture resulted in less stable tab Latvians.
Analogously to Example 1, tablets with different contents were used Sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate with the same water content produced (see Table 1), which had similarly good results. With Sokalan® CP 5 powder also became stable tablets that harden well receive.
Er gebnisse siehe Tabelle 2.Even when using pre-hydrated sodium carbonate decahydrate received post-curing unbreakable tablets, but Sodium carbonate decahydrate is due to its low melting point of 32 ° C difficult to process. Baking occurred in the storage container and clumping. Here the decahydrate was together with the rest Components mixed in a Lödige ploughshare mixer. The so obtained Mixture was weighed to 26 g on an eccentric press "Korsch EK IV" Tablets pressed. When using 38 mm tabletting tools and egg At a filling height of 33 mm in the die, the compression occurred a tablet height of approx. 15 mm. The press forces required were 70 up to 75 KN for the upper stamp and 50 to 55 KN for the lower stamp. He results see table 2.
Tabelle 3). In addition to sodium carbonate, did the recipes contain sodium disilicate as other alkali carriers, one also came to post-curing break-resistant Tablets (see Table 3).
