Es hat sich nämlich überraschend gezeigt, daß die Poren der Schaumstoffbälle von den ebenfalls in der Füllmischung vor handenen Materialien Federteile aufsaugen und sich dadurch mit einem natürlichen Silikonmantel umgeben. Die so ummantelten Schaumstoffbälle entwickeln eine eigene Dynamik, die bei wechselnder Be- und Entlastung daunig weich bleiben, jedoch nach Entlastung immer auf die ursprüngliche Höhe zurückgehen. In vorteilhafter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß der Durchmesser der Schaumstoffbälle in etwa der Seitenbo denhöhe des Kissens entspricht. Im Sinne der Erfindung ist weiterhin, daß die Schaumstoffbälle lose und beabstandet zueinander in die Mittelkammer eingelegt sind.
