Abstract

The polygonal block encloses paths, flowerbeds etc. It is made of plastics, with a hollow rectangular cross-section. It can incorporate transverse ribs (3) at intervals in the vertical direction. Connectors can be provided, fitting inside the blocks but extending for only part of their length. Alternatively end plates, with the same outline as the blocks, can be similarly fitted in them. USE/ADVANTAGE - Light weight, easily laid, and unaffected by frost.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kantenstein.The invention relates to an edge stone.

Derartige Kantensteine werden zur Einfassung von Wegen, Beete in Gärten aber auch Bürgersteigen benutzt. Üblicherweise sind die Kantensteine aus Beton. Derartige Kantensteine sind sehr schwer und dadurch schwierig zu verlegen. Sie sind zum Teil auch frostempfindlich. Es ist weiterhin ein erheblicher Aufwand erforderlich, um die Kantensteine so zu verlegen, daß sie ohne wesentliche Lücken aneinanderliegen und genau fluchten.Such edge stones are used to border paths, beds used in gardens but also sidewalks. Edge stone

Fig. 1 zeigt einen Kantenstein 1 mit rechteckiger Außenkontur, wobei die Oberkante 2 abgerundet ist. Der Kantenstein ist über seine ganze Länge hohl. Zur Verstärkung des Profils sind mehrere Querrippen 3 im inneren des Profils angeordnet. Die Querrippen verlaufen von der linken Innenseite der Längswand zur rechten Innenseite der Längswand.
