Bei den Silos, in welchen Heu ο. dgl. Futtermittel luftdicht untergebracht sind und durch einen schweren Deckel zusammengedrückt werden, besteht bisher die Gefahr, daß beim Reißen einer der Ketten, an denen der Deckel hängt, die unter diesem im Silo befindlichen Arbeiter in Gefahr kommen. Diese Gefahr wird nun der Erfindung zufolge dadurch beseitigt·, daß eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung vorgesehen ist, die sich von außen bedienen läßt. Ehe der Silo betreten wird, kann daher der Deckel gegen Herabfallen gesichert werden, so daß hernach jede Gefahr ausgeschlossen ist.At the silos in which hay ο. Like.
