Description
Rotary screen for shielding the secondary rays that hide the image for x-rays. The main patent relates to a rotary screen for shielding the secondary rays generated in x-rays in the x-rayed body. This screen is composed of wedge-shaped parts, which in turn are packed side by side Strips are made of fabric that is transparent and opaque to X-rays. In Fig. I is a plan view of an embodiment of such a screen is shown. According to your main patent, the individual strips of the wedge-shaped panel parts should now be stand perpendicular to the diaphragm plane. This has the disadvantage that the after Shorter strip parts to the outside are not exactly radial. against the tube focus are directed and therefore provide somewhat broader shadows than their strength is appropriate.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided in that all Stripes of the individual aperture wedges exactly in planes going through the tube focus are arranged. This direction can be seen clearly from Fig. 2, which shows a section according to the line I-II in Fig. i shows. This Fig. 2 leaves the direction of each Lattice parts to the Detect the focus f of the X-ray tube. The type of Production of the wedges provided with such inclined parts is shown in Fig. 3 in association with Fig. 2. All of the rods and ribbons made of X-ray transparent or impermeable material are shown with a cross-section corresponding to Fig. 2 composed of the strip-shaped body shown in Fig. 3. On the long side The individual parts of this body are perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, on the other Side cc inclined accordingly. From the so composed strip-shaped Bodies are the individual wedge-shaped pieces k the in the manner indicated Cut out the cover and then put it together as shown in Fig. I. All the individual parts of the diaphragm wedges are then in the required manner directed to the focus of the X-ray tube.
Fig.q. Fig. 11 illustrates another example of the rotating bezel. here the strips of the wedges lie like tendons. This can also be done here according to Fig.3 layered body to be cut out. The tip of the wedges k "would then lie on the s-edge, as indicated on the left in Fig. 3.
