Abstract

The i.c. engine, or a gas turbine, operates on a closed cycle so that no harmful prods. are discharged to the atmos. The engine uses air as expansion medium and is supplied with oxygen and hydrogen from bottles (6,7). The two gases are mixed with air in a mixing chamber (1) before flowing into the engine cylinder (2). The exhaust gases flow into an expansion chamber (3) and then through a cooler (4). Steam formed by the combustion of hydrogen is condensed, and the water thus formed flows out through a valve (5). The air then returns to the engine to repeat the cycle. ADVANTAGE - No use of fossil fuel and no CO2 emission.

Description

Anwendungapplication

Die Erfindung betrifft knallgasbetriebene Verbren nungsmotore nach den Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to oxyhydrogen-powered combustion nung motors according to the preamble of claim 1.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Fast alle gegenwärtig im Einsatz befindlichen Ver brennungsmotoren schädigen die Umwelt in zweierlei HinsichtAlmost all Ver Internal combustion engines damage the environment in two ways Terms

  • a) durch den unverantwortlich schnellen Verbrauch fossiler Brennstoffe (hier gibt es einige Aus nahmen)a) by the irresponsible fast consumption fossil fuels (there are some off took)
  • b) durch die Erzeugung umweltbelastender Stoffe.b) through the production of environmentally harmful substances.

It is generally known that the efforts made so far by technology / industry to reduce raw material consumption and pollutant development have only led to grave successes. The fact that CO 2 is already considered a pollutant today makes it clear that gradual successes are not sufficient, but that basic solutions are required.

Sogar beim Be trieb mit Wasserstoff entstehen toxische Verbindun gen. Some fundamental improvements can be observed pay attention to combustion engines that use hydrogen, Alcohol or other reproducible energy like to be operated. Here, no escapes will be made raw materials consumed. However, the Ab gas problems not solved here either. Even with the Be With hydrogen, toxic compounds are created gene.

The expansion required to operate the engine onsmedium (air) with the contained toxi connections after leaving the engine caught in an expansion vessel to afterwards fed back to the engine via a cooler will.  This means that the expansion medium is closed in one kept its cycle.
B. CO2) benutzt.c) To further optimize the system, an inert gas or a non-oxidizable, gaseous chemical compound is used as the expansion medium (e.g. CO 2 ).
The result from the combustion of hydrogen Combustion product is a water Water separator removed from the system.
