bestehen,des Lufteinlaßventil , versehen sind. Das Wesen des Erfindungsgegenstandes
besteht darin, daß der mit breitem versteiften Dichtungsflansch versehene Deckel

9 für das Loch. In Abb. 2 ist dieser dünne Metalldeckel in der Abschlußlage gezeichnet.
Hierbe. tritt infolge der Elastizität des durchgewölbten Deckels bei Überschreiten
eines gewissen äußeren Überdrucks ein plötzliches Durchwölben nach der entgegengesetzten
Seite ein, so daß die gewölbte Seite des Deckels nunmehr dem Glasgefäß zugewendet
ist. Dieses Durchwölben erfolgt nach verhältnismäßig kurzer Einkochzeit plötzlich,
weil die innere Luft und die Dämpfe infolge der leichten Art des Deckels schnell
entweichen können. Der Höhenunterschied des Schraubenbolzens 7 in benutztem Zustande
ist infolge der Durchwölbung der Deckelfläche 6 beträchtlich, so daß die Unversehrtheit
des Verschlusses an diesem Unterschied ohne weiteres erkannt werden kann. Ein besonderer
Vorteil des Deckelverschlusses für Einkochgläser besteht noch darin, daß, wenn eine
leichte Gärung des Inhaltes des Einkochgefäßes eintritt, dann ein gewisser, den
äußeren Überdruck ausgleichender innerer Druck den Deckel automatisch infolge seiner
ursprünglichen Formgebung in die Stellung der Abb. i zurückspringen läßt, so daß
