Description

From at least one upper and lower boiler and one connecting them Tubular band of existing water tube boilers with gas-tight tube wall. 19 The invention refers to such water tube boilers, which consist of at least one upper and one Lower boiler and a bundle of water pipes connecting these exist. With certain Types of such- boilers it is common to have the gas-tight walls, which guide the Heating gases cause - to form through the tubes themselves. For this purpose, the two outermost rows of pipes at those points where a tight wall is required is guided so that pipe to pipe comes to rest within these points, while passages are formed in the vicinity of the lower and upper kettles both rows of tubes diverge and flow separately into the drums. the In order to achieve a really gas-tight wall, pipes are arranged in such a way that that they are not only close to each other, but mutually transverse to the longitudinal direction the tubes cover something so that the tight tube wall runs in a wave shape. As a result, with such a pipe wall, remains at the mouth points of the two Rows of pipes used to form the pipe wall in the upper and lower boiler between each two pipes there is only a gap of not quite the pipe thickness. However, this results in particular in the case of boilers for very high pressures at the respective boilers Make the drum too weak, which is at this point of danger exposed to tearing.

The purpose of the invention is now to create boilers of the type described, which do not have this disadvantage. This purpose is thereby achieved in accordance with the invention achieved that the tight pipe wall to achieve a sufficiently large division The rolling-in points are pulled apart in at least three rows of tubes.

In the drawing, a boiler is shown, one of which is pipe wall (the one on the left) consists of two rows of tubes, as usual, while the other (Right) pipe wall according to the invention pulled apart in four rows is.

Fig. Z shows a vertical section through the boiler, Fig. 2 and 3 are sections through the left, formed in a known manner from two rows of tubes Pipe wall and Fig. 4 and 5 sections through the pipe wall formed according to the invention according to the cutting lines marked with the same numbers (2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5).

The water tube boiler has an upper boiler A and a lower boiler B, which are connected to one another by a tube bundle C. The outer rows of tubes of the tube bundle are formed into tube walls. At the points of opening into the. Drums, these tube walls are pulled apart into several rows of tubes, namely the left wall in the previously usual manner in two rows C1, C2, the right wall, however, according to the invention in four rows C3, C4, C5, CO. The arrangement of the tubes at the rolling-in point can be clearly seen from Figs. 3 and 5, in which t denotes the division of a row of tubes. A comparison of Figs. 3 and 5 shows that when the pipe wall is pulled apart according to the new construction in four rows, the division is twice as large as with two rows of pipes. However, this also increases the sectional area of the boiler wall that is subjected to tensile stress, so that the stress decreases or, with the same stress, the wall thickness of the boiler can be made smaller. By using three or more rows of pipes to form the pipe wall, the designer is in a position to keep the pipe division at the mouth of these rows of pipes in the drums so large that the drums hold reliably even at high operating pressures. It is also up to him to maintain a tolerable level for the wall thickness of the drums in the case of very highly stressed kettles.
