Zu diesem Zweck sieht man an Stelle einer Abschlußvorrichtung, die die Kammern des Dampfsammlers in direkte Verbindung miteinander bringt, so daß der ganze Dampf durch den gewöhnlichen Dampfauslaß geht, eine absperrbare Verbindung vor zwischen einem Teil des Dampfauslaßrohres jenseits des Dampfsammlers und den Dampf und Wasser enthaltenden Kesseln und den Kammern des Dampfsammlers, die aus jenen Dampf erhalten.
