Eine Elektrode K ist in dem inittleren kapillaren Rohr eingeschaltet, und zwar bis zu solcher Höhe, daß der Flüssigkeitsspiegel des Quecksilbers in dem Behälter und in dem kapillaren Rohr sich in gleicher Höhe mit der Elektrode befindet. Das Ganze wird nach der Füllung mit einem inerten Gas abgeschlossen. Es sind somit zwei vollständig voneinander getrennte Gasvolumina vorhanden, und zwar das eine in dem Raum oberhalb des Quecksilbers in dem Behälter einschließlich der Kugel B und das andere in dem Raum oberhalb des Quecksilbers #in dem kapillaren Rohr, wobei das letztgenannte Volumen veränderlich ist, und zwar kann dasselbe durch Steuerung mittels der SchraubenmutterL, die eine Spitze trägt, die über eine Skala M geführt wird, Üadurch verändert werden, daß die Schraubenmutter auf den Kolben H im Zylinder I einwirkt und den Früssigkeitsspiegel des Quecksilbers in dem kapillaren Rohr zum Sinken oder zum Heben bringt, wodurch eine bestimmte Einstellung erhalten werden kann.The device is illustrated, for example, in the figure.
