Zimmerofen mit Nebenöffnungen zur Verbindung des Feuerschachts mit den Züger, für die Verbrennungsgase. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zimmerofen mit Nebenöffnungen zur Verbindung des Feuerschachts mit den benachbarten Zügen. Der Erfindung gemäß werden diese Öffnungen in der Nähe der Decke des Ofens angebracht. Dies hat den Vorteil, daß die Verbindungsöffnungen neben der bekannten Wirkung der Nachzündung der Feuergase die treibende Wirkung verhüten, welche bei Anwendung hochwertiger Brennstoffe, insbesondere bei Kachelöfen, häufig zum Undichtwerden der Ofendecke führt.
