Die Verschließeinrichtung übernimmt diese Kunststoffband-Schlaufe und legt und schneidet sie mittels Zangen und Messer so zurecht, daß der sich bewegende Ultraschall-Schweiß kopf eine zweifache Überlappungs-Schweißung des Kunststoff-Umrei fungsbandes vornehmen kann. Durch diese zweifache Überlappungs schweißung wird erreicht, daß die für die Festigkeit der Umreifung erforderliche Überlappungslänge an das Paket oder den Stapel ange schmiegt mit dem eigentlichen Paket- oder Stapel-Umreifungsband verschweißt wird und vom Paket oder Stapel nicht absteht.
