Anstelle des Klebebandes kann man auch eine Schmelzkleberschicht verwenden, die in Form eines Bandes auf den Rahmen 4 aufgelegt und dort selbstklebend zumindest punktuell fixiert wird. Es wird dann auf die Schmelzkleberschicht die Glasscheibe gelegt und die Gesamteinheit bis zur Reaktionstemperatur des Schmelzklebers auf geheizt. Hierdurch wird die Klebeverbindung zwischen dem Rahmen 4 und der Glasscheibe hergestellt.
