Ein Widerlager ist dabei zweckmäßig an einem Rohrende als umlaufender Ring ausgebildet und das andere Widerlager am anderen Rohrende ist segmentförmig ausgebildet, so daß diese Segmente beim Ineinanderstecken der Hinterschneidungselemente federnd nachgeben können. Angeformte Verdrehsicherungen und ring förmige Abschlußelemente zur axialen Sicherung des Stütz körpers am Filterelement und gegebenenfalls zur radialen Zentrierung in einem Gehäuse erleichtern die Handhabung eines Großfilterelementes der eingangs genannten Art.
