Die auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Maschine dient zum Herausziehen der Korke aus geschlossenen Flaschen. Der eigentliche Korkzieher α führt sich in dem Futter b, welches in den unteren Theil des verschiebbaren Rahmens d eingesetzt ist, und sein oberer vierkantiger Theil α¹ gleitet in einer entsprechend geformten Aussparung des konischen Getriebes c, welches im Rahmen d rotiren kann.The machine shown in the drawing is used to pull the cork out of closed bottles.
